A new staple for covering unruly grey hair
First of all, I want to say African Pride always does an amazing job. I will not live without their Braid and Lock Twist Gel. Not only does it slick down edges that are hard or unruly, but it also gives the hair a nice silky appearance without looking like plastic. When I saw this product, I decided to try it because I now have gray around my temples. I absolutely love this product and will not be without it either. It is now another staple along with my Braid Lock and Twist Gel from African Pride. This doesn’t look like shoe polish on the hair. It looks so natural and is easy to apply, with the same ease as the Braid Lock and Twist Gel.Kudos to African Pride for always bringing us products that are not only good value but also high quality. These products make life easier for those bad hair days when you want to look presentable but don’t have a lot of time. This product is easy to use, very pliable, and not tacky or sticky. The color doesn’t come off or transfer onto pillows or other things. I love this and will continue to buy it.

Good for Basic Edge Control, but Some Limitations - A Balanced Review
As someone who likes to keep their edges neatly styled and controlled, I was eager to try African Pride Black Castor Miracle Hold & Cover Edges. With its blend of black castor oil and coconut oil, it seemed like an ideal product. After using it for a while, I have mixed feelings:Pros:Hold: It does provide a decent hold for most of the day. My edges stay in place, especially in regular daily activities.Ingredients: The inclusion of black castor oil and coconut oil adds a nourishing aspect to this edge control product. It doesn't feel overly harsh or damaging to the hair.Coverage: If you have some grays, this product can be effective in covering them up temporarily. It's not a permanent solution, but for a quick fix, it can work.Cons:Strength of Hold: While it holds well for everyday activities, if you are planning on a strenuous workout or spending time in a humid environment, the hold may not last as long.Filling Thinning Areas: The claim that it fills thinning areas is a bit overstated. It can provide some coverage, but the effect is subtle and may not meet the expectations of those with more noticeable thinning.Texture and Residue: The texture is a bit thick, and it can leave a residue if too much is applied. Finding the right amount to use can be a bit tricky.Color Match: The color might not be a perfect match for everyone's hair. It tends to have a more universal shade, which might not blend seamlessly with all hair colors.Overall Impression:African Pride Black Castor Miracle Hold & Cover Edges is a good option for basic edge control. The nourishing ingredients and decent hold make it suitable for regular use. However, the limitations in strength of hold, effectiveness in filling thinning areas, and potential residue might make it unsuitable for those with specific needs or preferences. For a day-to-day product, it does its job fairly well, and the price point is reasonable. If you are looking for a simple solution to control your edges and perhaps cover some grays, this might work for you. If you have more specific or demanding needs, it might be wise to explore other options.

Suspiciously tampered with.
This product has been tampered with the package was sealed, but inside the box was open. The jar had clearly been open and it looked like maybe something was sprinkled in it. I don’t know. I’m not gonna use it. It’s suspiciously looks tampered with I will be sending pictures. Also, the jar itself wasn’t sealed with plastic like normally a jar would be.
