Eyes Wide Open

I recently discovered Evolution wasn't her first album. I read the reviews for Eyes Wide Open and knew I had to get it. Wow, what an awesome debut. This girl is the real deal. On the full play of the album, I was already humming the tunes and picked up my guitar to play along to "Two Young Hearts". Such a great song. I had the oppertunity to see her perform on the "De-Tour" last summer. She puts on a terrific show. Side note: also got to meet her as part of the ticket package. I told her I was probably her oldest fan at 45, she assured me I wasn't haha. This music isn't just for the kids watching Disney. She's a very talented and down to earth young lady. I'm looking forward to what's next.

exceeded what i wanted!

i just listened to the entire album on Amazon Cloud Player and i truly love every single song on the album. This is definitely a CD i will be listening to over and over again.i highly recommend this CD, it is Awesome! There is not a single, solitary song on this album that isn't good. Sabrina Carpenter has a very unique sound and she is Very blessed to have such an incredible ability to sing and act and there is no telling where she'll end up in the future but, i believe she will rise to greater and greater heights, outer space is the limit. With this being only her Debut Album, her full potential hasn't even begun to completely surface yet but, in time, i believe Sabrina will show everyone just what she can really do and it's going to be Amazing. Definitely Get This Album people.

Kid friendly pop album with good songs and enjoyable song choice beginning to end. My kids, 14 and 16 like the opening song, the white flag song and Right now. And there are 2 songs written by Meghan Trainor which are catchy. Sabrina has an honesty in her presentation, while not quite to Adele standards, we believe her and this increases all of the songs appeal. Enjoy, good album overall , not just one or two songs.

I already got two copies of this CD for my friends so I've heard bits and pieces of it. Has a unique sound for such a young artist. I found it super cute in the give thanks section of the CD she gave thanks to her doggies.

Beautiful songs for mother and daughter. Even my husband liked this CD. One would never believe that Sabrina Carpenter is 15, the girl can SING! While my husband and daughter love Can't Blame A Girl For Trying, I get goosebumps listening to Eyes Wide Shut. Two Young Hearts almost seems like a song I would have heard when I was younger. Money well spent, and how cool is it when your 7 year old asks for music instead of a toy?

Incredibly gifted young woman! Sabrina Carpenter is more than impressive with her debut album. Not onlyher voice, but her songs as well are mature beyond her years. This is not teenybopper pop music. While it's not as sophisticated as say, Fiona Apple, it is light-years ahead of anything most other artists her age are putting out. Every song on the album is enjoyable, But I especially appreciate We'll be the Stars, White Flag, and You Can't Blame a Girl for Trying. Definitely an album worth adding to your collection.
