Great, great knife. Hopefully it will be available again--it is indeed worth the money.
Evidently I got the last one! And it is unknown when or even if more will be available. I am at a loss to understand why this model is not more popular than it apparently is. It is a really fine blade. The steel is a full 1/4 inch thick (6mm) and the knife is very substantial, very heavy-duty, but it weighs only about 10 oz. The workmanship is outstanding. It came fairly sharp, and I was able to bring it up to my personal standard (meaning VERY sharp) with a few pulls thru the wheels of my Rada and a few strokes on my strop. If my understanding is correct, old files (but not new files) were usually made from 1095 steel. It goes thru a heat-treat process (the reason for which I do not know) before it can be made into a knife blade. All very interesting, but it is the final product that we may or may not like. I happen to like this knife a whole lot, and I have quite a few other knives, some of which are in about the same price range ($75), that I can compare this model to. It easily stands with the best, at least, the best of the ones that I own, which include KaBar, Schrade, SOG, Buck and my favorites, the Condors and the Ontarios that I have. The only things about it that I could possibly critique is the rather delicate point (so no torquing from side to side) and the fact that the finger guard really needs to be more pronounced, and, finally, the micarta scales are a bit too smooth for my liking. But, of course, that is just my personal opinion, and the knife is really great just the way it is. The sheath is well constructed and the knife is held in the sheath by friction. I guess it is possible that this review will never be read by anyone, rather like the note in the bottle that may or may not be found. Wouldn't it be cool if I got the last one that was ever made? I like the sound of that and I think that will be my opening line, that will go something like this: "Yes, great knife, isn't it? Too bad that you will never get to own one, because I bought the very last one in the whole world".

Great Knife !!
Sorry Teugene. I received mine last night. All the major highs and lows are covered in his review. Except I would like to stress the fact that the leather sheath is TOP quality. Very heavy duty. This thing is thick like belt leather and very well made. It has a makers mark tooled on the sheath but nothing on the knife itself. From what I have found online it is made in Pakistan. However that does not affect the quality of the knife. In short it is well worth the money, a comparable knife goes for about twice this price.
