Quality belt

Good product.
Did 100k maintenance on my girlfriend's 2010 Dodge Charger SXT 3.5L. Belt is exact fit and much more tension and rib life than the old belt which appeared to be OEM. Not too much to stay besides that it fits and seems to be a good product.

No Chirp for the past 3 months
It's been a few months and still no chirp. This belt fit my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country perfectly. I started getting the chirp during this past winter. I bought a new $30 belt from the auto parts store and it stopped the chirp for about 3 days then it came right back. Before I put in that new belt I replaced the harmonic balancer, belt tensioner and idler pulley. Still chirped. I used a piece of 1/4" air hose, put it to my ear and pointed the other end in various places. It was coming from the Alternator Pulley. The Alternator is only a couple years old. Pulley was in great shape so I checked the pulley alignment. They all lined up pretty good but there must be something barely off, enough to give me a chirp. I saw the great reviews on this Gaterback and ordered it. No Chirp for the past 3 months.

NOT a Gatorback
DO NOT BUY these Continental belts. They are NOT the Goodyear Gatorbacks. Just a regular V-groove that does not offer the same quiet effect of the Gatorbacks. Pictures are misleading.

Great Quality Belt - Stopped my Squeaking Problem When Others Failed
My only issue with this belt was whether or not it wold fit my vehicle. I just don't trust Amazon when it comes to specifying whether or not a part fits my vehicles...sorry Amazon. So do some checking around at other sites before you commit.That said, it's a great belt and took care of the belt squeaking problem on my van. I watched a YouTube video that showed how to diagnose a squeaking belt issue and it was spot on. The belt I had on there was new and I was about to replace a pulley and learned, by following the diagnostic steps in the video, that it was an alignment issue. So I took the recommendation from the video maker and picked up this belt. It's not an inexpensive belt for sure, but it did the job. No more squeaks and it's been a few months now.
