Must have baby item! Perfect for a shower gift! Every parent needs one of these. Quick, simple, easy and painless to use. Results are very accurate. I find It to be more accurate than other brands I’ve purchased in the past. Having a sick baby is already a stressful situation, but having this thermometer takes some of the stress away by providing fast and accurate results!

I like that you can do a forehead or an ear scan and it switches modes automatically when you take the cap off or put it back on. I found the ear reading to be more accurate than the forehead reading. It is also nice to be able to get an idea of ambient temp of a bottle as well. It reads so fast that I don't think it allows enough time for the forehead scan to take accurately as it always shows 1-1.5 degrees lower than the ear reach, which shows as accurate with other thermometers we use.

I purchased this because it had very good reviews. I must have gotten a bad unit. Its easy to use but always gives inaccurate readings. I can keep it in exactly the same spot, never moving it, and it will show temperatures that vary up to 6 degrees. This occurs no matter how I use it (ear, forhead, or just checking the room temp). Also, if I believe any of the temps I get from my husband or myself, we are both hypothermic. It's never said I'm above 95 degrees. I'm very disappointed in this thermometer.

I have a few friends that are expecting right now, so I decided a great gift would be a thermometer. This is perfect for a new mom, and as a baby shower gift. They did not have these cool things when my kids were little.I love that it has multiple modes- the description says “ can easily switch from forehead to ear detection mode through pushing the probe cover. This thermometer could also be used in object mode to test the temperature of milk/water bottle,bath water, etc. Very convenientIt does require 2 AAA, but they do supply you with the first set which is nice. It also comes with a carrying pouch to keep it clean and protected while in storage if for travelIt has a bright display and it seems accurate so far. A great buy!

Love the ease of this unit to use. I didn’t think I would be able to get this to work correctly.Right out of box insert the batteries, and followed the directions it worked easy and correctly.I’m in my 60's my husband is in his 70's I was able to check his temp right away.He’s fighting a cold; I just wanted to make sure no fever again today. He’s never liked the other ones we’ve had over the last 40+ some years.Sooo; I went on line and looked up the one closest to my daughter’s and Ordered it &In no Time it’s here. (I'm very Happy tonight and can rest easier knowing he has no temp again) :-)

I was looking for a new thermometer and was so excited to find on that is combined forehead and ear. It has a big display screen with the colors in the background, green for a good/ normal temperature and red for a high temperature/ fever. I also really like how fast it takes your temperature. It reminds me of the ones at the doctors office that are lightning fast. Sometimes it can be tricky taking a temperature of a sick child so this will be a lifesaver this coming school year. It came with batteries which is always a plus and a velvet type bag to store it in which will be nice!

This thermometer has some great features. It came with batteries so I started using it straight out of the box. I really appreciate that I can use it on my toddler's forehead and in a quick twist the cover can be removed to place the thermometer in my teen's ear. The aspect of the backlight turning red when there is a fever is a great signal that attention must be taken and then the relief I feel after seeing the green light when the fever breaks is very comforting. It has a silent mode. Overall, glad to have this thermometer for the possible sick days.

Even though I no longer practice as a pediatric nurse, I was excited to purchase this thermometer. I found it to be very easy to use whether operating as a forehead scanner or measuring the temperature in the ear canal. The lighted display is easy to read in Fahrenheit or in centigrade degrees. The thermometer also has memory capability. I recommend this product.

Product says can be switched from F to C but there’s is no way to change to C despite following user guide to hold for 8 secs. Also , I can only switch from forehead temperature to ambience temperature. You will have to take out the batteries to change from ambience to forehead temp. This product is made in China. Very disappointed with this product .

After trying so many times, the maximum tempturate less than 36 degree which is not right. I compared using the traditional under tongue type and the other non contactless are all 36.5.
