Why pay more...
I paid £8.99 for six of these mounts, what a bargain. They are well made, very simple design that holds the guitar firmly, and because both arms pivot independently they fit asymmetric head stocks with ease. Please DO NOT use the wall plugs and screws supplied with the hangers, these would be OK to use for a coat hook, but not for (expensive) guitars. I used hollow wall anchor fixings to ensure they aren't going anywhere.

Fits All Sizes of Musical Instruments
I wanted some "Guitar Hooks" to hang a lot of my acoustic musical instruments on my wall. Very few of the hooks advertised, detail all dimensions and I was concerned the hook size would not be suitable. When assembled these hooks protrude from the wall by 5 1/8" inch (130mm) and suspend nicely all body depths ranging from parlor, dreadnaught, jumbo and even a round back bouzouki. Each of the hook arms can swivel out independently to give a throat size from 0 up to a maximum of approx. 1 7/8" (48mm). Therefore these hooks can easily accommodate small instruments such as mandolins and steel string guitar necks widths. Although the hooks do fit (and are used to hold) the 2" neck of a classical guitar, this type of guitar has to be manoevered into the hook and the thick soft rubber surrounding the metal arms slightly compressed to allow the guitar to fit.Although these hooks could be used for holding asymmetric necks of electric guitars, I do not use them for this application. The bracket that hold the hook arms to the wall with the screws and rawl plugs provided, does seem to be made of a suitably robust type of plastic for holding the weight of an electric guitar, but over time I do not wish to increase the risk of the hooks and more importantly my wall to become damaged from repetative straining.I've heard reports that the nitrocellulose lacquer coating used on some guitars can be damaged by the rubber coating on some guitar hooks, only time will tell if this applies to these hooks. For the quality of these items, six hooks for £8.99 seems excellent value.

Brilliant value, good adjustment. Not the most heavy duty you’ll find.
What value for 6 wall hangers! As many have mentioned, you may want to use a better fixing for the top fixing for plasterboard as the top one takes the strain. Certainly went that way for electric guitars. Lightweight acoustic instruments will be fine using the supplied fixings. They adjust well to fit different headstock widths. The riveted attachments for the bars that hold the headstock are my one concern when considering the heavier electric instruments I have. There are at least 3 I won’t hang on these for fear of them failing, although one is a 6 string bass and very heavy indeed! I have to stress that none have failed, but I’m not taking that risk with important instruments. Are these worth the price? Absolutely! Superb value! I’ll simply be careful what weight I ask them to take.

Very good, I purchased again.
I don't often leave product reviews however in this instance I feel I should as the reviews helped me to decide to purchase my first batch of guitar hangers. As you can see from the photos I have a lot of instruments to hang so I needed a cost effective solution. I purchased the batch and I was impressed with them so I bought a second batch. The hardware provided was adequate, you may need to purchase alternative wall plugs or fixings depending on your type of wall. The wall hangers seem sturdy, I have a couple of drum kits in the same room so there is a fair bit of vibration and none of the hangers have moved out come loose. As you can see I have some heavier guitars and they are well supported with no sign of sag. This review is not sponsored and I purchased all of the hangers with my own money.

Great for storing any stringed instruments (I use for ukuele/banjo/guitar)
Easy to install. I've used these a few times and the only minor thing I found was the screws are fairly cheap. Don't do what I did - don't use your Makita cordless to tighten then up real good and right...snapped the head on two and had to dig them out the wall. They are not rated for impact or high speed. Either use better screws or switch way down on the cordless ...better yet, use a screwdriver 🤣👍Great value for money as these have padded noeprene bits to hold the ukulele, adjustable for all sizes, and holds my banjo and guitar. I just flick the arms to right size and hang whatever I want on it that day after I've played. Plus they look awesome when all hanging well..

Great solution for getting off the floor
Love this product, learning guitar late in life, but my daughter and my 2 young sons have joined me and soon found we had guitars all over the house in a very short timeI was worried about them hitting the wall but they hold the Guitars well away from the wallAll sizes fit no problemWell happy with the product and such a simple design as well

Cheap, fit for purpose but with a caveat
These do the job well but be careful when fitting. The plastic is brittle and if you use an electric driver of some sort it's easy to crack the main body of the holder. Using non standard screws is a must as the supplied ones are a joke and far too small. However be mindful to match the diameter and just get a longer one. A fatter one will destroy it and also a larger head will also cause the holder to crack. I wouldnt trust it with anything precious but they do seem to be ok for light electrics and acoustics.

Good Hangers -They do the job
These are simple hangers, just what I wanted.. simply attach to your wall - I took advice from previous reviews and bought special plasterboard 'rawlplugs' which came with longer screws but the SAME thickness as supplied with the hangers so they go through the holes...but once attached to the wall they are very secure. I have my most precious and heaviest guitar hanging safely from one. It clears the floor of guitars and makes the studio so much more 'professional'-looking..so far so good..I reckon these hangers will keep my guitars safe 'for ever'...
