Works well. Well made.
I installed this on a car that has a 1 amp drain somewhere. A couple of days sitting unused and the battery would be too dead to start it. This is the next best thing to actually finding and fixing the drain. Since it is automatic, one cannot forget to disconnect the battery and be stranded. The hardest part of the installation was the switch. The switch is well designed and built, provides multiple functions, and is well labeled. But it needs a rectangular hole of a particular size. Plan on running three wires from the relay to the switch, and a ground wire at the switch. One thing to note while you are testing the functions of the switch: the manual shut off will only disconnect the battery if the voltage is low. The system has a settable cutoff voltage, and a voltage range just above that where it warns you the voltage is low. You can manually disconnect only in that range. Actually, this is a safety feature. You don't want to accidentally disconnect while your alternator is charging, it could blow the diodes. I'm glad I chose Blue Seas.

Save your batteries from damage
It is hard to monitor the voltage level of the batteries in your RV or boat. This automatic disconnect takes care of it for you. If you daring too much from your batteries, it will disconnect them so that they cannot be drained to a harmful level. It is easy to install and works well. I am very glad that I added it to my travel trailer. Even when you think everything is off, something is draining the battery. This disconnect switch protects you from expensive damage to your house battery.

Little confusing to wire but seems to work
The wiring diagram is confusing. too many cross this and that wire making it unclear if they just are overlapping or if they have to be connected. I bought this to run to my auxbeam switch controller which I have on a constant draw for lights and GMRS radio. So far the battery has not drained far enough for this to kick in but from what I am told I don't need the switch all I have to do is start the car and it resets the device. So far so good. I used extreme temperature tape to stick it to my in engine fuse box, so far its fine. If it comes loose I can run some screws through it. So far so good. Someone should make a better video about the wiring diagram.

Works great.
I'm using it on my truck camper to protect the engine batteries from becoming over discharged. It's between the engine batteries and the camper batteries, like a battery isolator. But it allows both banks to be charged or used by the camper with the engine off. If I over discharge the batteries it disconnects until I start the truck. Only gets about 40 amps because it's wired into the small battery charge circuit. I had it in for several months with no problems. I did not wire the switch in yet but I plan to do so later. Seems to be well made compared to other similar products. Would also be great to disconnect radio or 12 volt propane furnace from battery bank; as that is it's intended purpose.

There when you need it.
I have run a couple tests already. Works Perfectly. Just before it reaches your set cut off voltage it starts flashing. then about a minute or so later... it cuts off. I used mine with a 200AH SLA AGM Battery.

Ironically, it draws too much power and will drain my battery
I like the protection that it gives but puts .3 amps of parasitic loss on my system. It was draining my wagon’s battery after a week. I had to install it behind a switch if didn’t drive the vehicle for over a week. It will definitely protect against a large drain just know the limitations and drawbacks.

Great to have works perfectly
This thing is a lifesaver. We go 4x4ing and camping in the middle of nowhere and I needed something to keep my battery from not being able to start my jeep if the battery is accidentally drained by an accessory. I put this disconnect between the battery and main fuse box of my 98 Cherokee Xj, and all my accessories are connected to switches that power relays that are connected after the disconnect. So I am not overloading the disconnect yet in the event the battery is too low everything including the switches will lose power-saving my battery. It has saved me twice already from my kids leaving doors open and turning on accessories without me knowing.

Rock solid
Does what it says. Properly written instructions exactly represent the unit they're packed with. Solid construction. Pricey but cheaper than killing batteries and far cheaper than ruining a vacation. Installed at a cabin, 120Ah 12V system.

The best !
Installed on my boat. Used to protect my house battery from total discharging during the hot days listening to the stereo.

Instructions were a little confusing. Could have a better diagram.
Hoping this will protect my batteries at a remote camp. Install was fine.
