Get a grip

OMG why didn't I buy these years ago? Throw out all your other grips. These are the best, they don't mark, hold at the perfect angle, are comfortable and soooo easy to adjust with no slip. Don't catch your finger in mechanism when sliding adjuster tho, it's very smooth so may surprise you and nip if you are holding it in a lazy way whilst adjusting.

The lock on these pliers make it so much better than a normal groove pliers. i have one of each and i always opt for the press and lock version. the grip is nice and ergonomic, the build quality is amazing and they work perfectly for compression fittings.

Rubbish , the handles pulled straight off, had to glue them back on with stronger glue

Bad quality and no warranty

I bought the 10 inch version on Amazon.co.uk and had it a few weeks. Looked good initially. Then I held a connection with it one day and tried to loosen a screw. Now there are no grooves left on jaws. Irwin will not entertain a warranty within reason. AVOID is all I can say
