1 Inch Leg Length Discrepancy Full Length Insoles Lifts for Uneven HIPS (2 Rights Medium)

I don't write reviews all the time, and certainly not within an hour of receiving the item. This product has put a huge smile on my face and I want to share this with anyone who has a similar problem as me. Some years ago I fell flat on my back on a tile floor. As the years went by I developed osteoarthritis from this traumatic injury, and I had a total hip replacement on the right side. About a year ago I noticed a discrepancy in the length of my legs. My left leg is shorter than the leg with the titanium joint. I thought it was because of the osteoarthritis but I am now in physical therapy and I just found out from my therapist that the discrepancy is caused because my right hip is actually tilted forward. The result is it makes my left leg 1 inch shorter than the right and because of that discrepancy my gate is off, which causes lower back pain at times. With this knowledge in hand I went on Amazon and saw these full length soles with a lifted heel. I ordered two left insoles and received them today. I immediately put one in my shoe to see if I would notice a difference in how I walk. Boy was I ever amazed! I actually feel like my legs are even and when I walk I'm not limping and putting a strain on my lower back. I immediately noticed a difference in my gait and less pain in my left hip when I walk. I would recommend trying these if you have a problem similar to mine. However, I would also recommend that you have a physical therapist or an orthopedic doctor measure your leg length discrepancy. I was using a half inch heel lift and wasn't getting much relief. After my physical therapist measured me I found out that I actually had a 1 inch discrepancy. It's very important that you know the precise measurement if you do have a leg length difference. I know this was a lengthy review, but I am so overjoyed and really wanted to pass this on to other people that are suffering with this type of discomfort. If you are, try it - you have nothing to lose but the pain!

Since my husband is 1 inch shorter on one leg it works perfect to straighten his spine. No more back pain from being off balance!

I bought some mediums initially I’ve got at 10.5 size foot. Currently wearing Belleville steel toe hot weather combat boots to work. If you’re not familiar with hot weather boots they are often a size bigger. So I tried a pair of largewhich totally filled the up to the front of the boot as the insole should but consequently the arch dropped farther up as well causing me pain. I went back to the mediums. They were softer anyways. Had a better cushion design. (The large were too solid, no give.) Size should fit just fine on ordinary 10.5 shoes though.

Like them, but after wearing for a while yhey hurt foot, like rubbing blister. Was hoping this would work so I didn't have to have 1 inch soles added to t he bottom of my shoe...

I use this insole for a leg length discrepancy. I've been using it for about a year and am ordering a new set. Overall I've been very happy with the comfort and quality. They may not fit in all shoes. I use these in shoes that can fit it and I use a different insole that is only on my heel for shoes that are more restrictive. I prefer this when I can use it because there is less strain on my foot having the full insole.

I ordered two inserts for the right foot. I received a left foot insert and a right foot insert. In addition to this issue, the inserts are a bit too firm for comfort. I would not order these again.
