Ultima R2 Performance Carburetor 42-90

this carb fit my bike perfect ,it really woke it up , the other carb had been rebuilt 4 times and i felt like i got my moneys worth out of it , the gasket fit as well. i am looking forward to a trouble free ride with no carb issues .keep the shiny side up

Item arrived unharmed although it was obvious that the package had been hit hard in several spots. Item just as described. The R-2 carb has several improvements over the original S&S version and it ran pretty good straight out of the box. After tuning and a jet change our old 80ci Evo came to life.

It came in the mail with a bent idal screw

Installed on my 84 XLX in place of the S&S carb. Fired up right out of the box. I bumped up the idle and its sounds great without even touching the air adjustment. Its a project bike so I'm waiting to tweek it better after I get the bike together. I would highly recommend this carb to anyone.

Buying an E cab in Japan costs more than $ 400, but this is $ 100 cheaper with a buff shine! Moreover, it can also be used as a Thunder Jet specification! Great!

I installed this carb on an ‘80 Electra Glide with a rebuilt motor. My bike cruises nicely, no surging at any speed however, there is a dead spot when you crack the throttle to decelerate and at times when taking off from a light. It’s like it’s not getting gas. Accelerator pump adjustment makes no difference. Overall, I probably won’t use this carb again.
