Q: Is this phone operational? I just received ours and it does not seem to be working. I tried several phone jacks and still not working

Mine works fine. Not hooked to a phone line now, but I called my home phone to see if it would work. I also made a call from it and it worked fine.

Q: Is this an actual rotary or push buttons?

It looks like a push button but it's a rotary.

Q: does it come with a number or do you have to register it?

It is not like a cell phone where you get a number, this is a land line. So, this would be the same number as your land line. If you do not have a land line, you would need one.

Q: Does this phone have Bluetooth capabilities?

I doubt it. Very flimsy construction. Two different pieces broke off.
