Title says 195 yet the description says 188?

This is the T Stat you want for your Saturn S series.. Make sure it's the original factory t stat housing.. It starts to open at 188 and is at full open at 195.. It's a bit confusing.. I have used this t stat in about 5 Saturns..

So what temp is this 185/188/192/195 i need correct part for my 1998 saturn sl1 sohc auto to many conflicting answers ?

This thermostat starts to open at 188 degrees and is fully open at 195..

Does the housing come with thermostat

No the housing isn't included. Included is a cardboard tube that is the tool to replace the thermostat into the original OEM housing. Aftermarket housings may not work with this thermostat. The 195 degree thermostat is the correct one for a Saturn to be able to operate at the correct temp and for the heater to heat enough.

Does this thermostat come with a cardboard tool to help install it in the thermostat housing?

NO, mine did not. No gasket, as pictured in the listing photo was included either. Notice that all of the previous answers to this question saying "yes" are from 5 years ago, and all approximately the same date.
