I use a lot of small split rings when making jewelry. My tool started loosing it's grip pad on one side so I bought this tool & found out that if I tried to use it on any split ring smaller than about 10mm it doesn't work!!! It does work great on the larger size split rings. Unfortunately I use the smaller split rings.
