Sorry if I come off as a bit of a Sicce fan boy but they’ve delivered another great product. This pump is quiet, powerful and completely controllable. Best of all it’s built on a proven platform with readily available replacement parts. Every Reefer knows that our tanks take their toll on our gear. Even with maintenance and a quality product, parts will wear. Take a look at the parts store, you can basically rebuild it. Plus, the warranty is stellar!Speaking of parts, everything you need to hook up to your plumbing is in the box(looking at you Ecotech). I’m a fan of the app and it’ll work with Apex should you go that route. If not, the included controller is pretty slick! It also has presets to be used in a closed loop. I really am loving this pump!

I have this in a 40 gallon sump for a 125-gallon main display tank. I only run it at 57% power. I have two ¾" returns and at 100% it will suck the sump dry so I just powered it down and used the ball valve on the main drain to regulate the amont of flow to prevent the overflow from making the sucking sound. Works great and the wifi feature is very handy. The temperature is also very accurate and I use it instead of the other thermometers in the tank and sump to monitor the temp.My only complaint is that is slightly noisy for DC style pump. I would not say it's loud but you can definitely hear a low hum coming from it. This isn't bad at all at 57% though. If I ran it at 100%, then I would most likely have returned it.

I purchased the Syncra SDC 9.0 recently and had a few issues, I opened a ticket almost a month ago with Sicce support, still no answers after several attempts.The pump is decent, a bit louder than the one it was replacing.Moves a nice volume of waterPeriodically/randomly changes speeds even though it's set for constant speedHad it not been for the noise and the random speeds, it would be a 5 star pump. Ironically, I opened a ticket about the random speeds but no response from SicceIf they fix the problem, I will update the review to reflect it

So just set up my Sicce sdc 6.0. It was so easy to setup and tune my tank didn't skip a beat. Basically no down time to exchange pumps. It's only been running a short time but I love it already. Have experience with the ac Sicce pumps and love them too. I would definitely recommend Sicce products to anyone looking for a quality pump.

I purchased this only to find they were too cheap to just include individual tubing specific size adaptors to the different hose sizes. Additionally the threads on the pump were non standard threading and no matter how many fittings I attempted to purchase from the hardware store none would fit the pump. Small tanks sometimes have a limited amount of space when it comes to plumbing fittings to pumps. I couldn't use any of the adapters that came with it. And to top it off there were NO threaded PVC fittings I could find that would actually work on the threads on this pump to create my own plumbing configuration. There was absolutely no way I could use this pump. I returned it after much frustration. The company really needs to build products compatible with standard PVC threading and they need to include hose more hose adapters specific to the common sizes of flex tubing. IE 1/2 > pump. 3/4" > pump 1" > pump. The fittings instead are combined fittings where they were meant to have two sizes of tubing fit a single threaded adapter. In my case this took up more room than I could tolerate in my sump / aquarium stand. Also the pump just felt extremely cheap for the price. But I will never know since I could never use it.

This syncra sdc 7.0 pump is more powerful and much quieter than my old Deep Blue pump. It’s probably overkill for my 125 gallon system, but more flow equals happy corals and fish. I like that it came with enough fittings to run submerged or inline. Easy Wi-Fi setup and controls make this return pump easy to use. The app is very user friendly as well. I’ve had a small sicce pump for my protein skimmer for 7 years so I know their pumps are built to last. I’m so glad I purchased this product!

This is an excellent pump. I use it on a redsea 425 G2. Love the controls and the added benefit of having a temperature sensor inside the pump helps keep an eye on stable temps. Also if the probes fail I always have a backup to refer to. When running at full throttle it is a little loud but not a big deal. Easy maintenance and the warranty period is great. I've used success products for a long time and I highly recommend it.
