Equal to branded fasteners but much less $$
I consider "star drive" (torx) to be fairly generic. That they are a pleasure to use and essentially perfect fasteners for their intended use is almost a given. That leaves price. Simply put: these cost less & perform the same as the gdawful expensive name brand.

Great holding power.
Excellent screw for all kinds of wood projects. I have used them frequently for assembling jigs and later disassembling. They have great holding powers and the heads do not strip like Phillips screws.
