Halo Headband Halo V - Sweatband with Velcro Brand Adjustable Fastener

Regardless of your head size, these will fit you comfortable because they are closed by using velcro and not the rubber band one piece fits all style which can be too tight or too lose. And the absorbent piece in front of the eyes does a terrific job.

This thing is a lifesaver . I had one of the Halo bands that was way too big so I sewed it up in the back to be tight and after 4 years of use, the silicone rib finally came off. Hope this one lasts as long.Just to clarify, sweat still gets to your eyes two ways with this, either you tilt your head sideways or it becomes saturated. I resolved the second issue by wearing a sweat towel over top of this, if they both start to the become saturated, switch towels or ring out the towel.About the size, I wear a 7 1/8 fitted hat (that's pretty small for a guy) and the velcro hooks line up perfectly with the loops, so technically it could get 2 inches smaller or larger. I bought this to keep the sweat out of my eyes while playing hockey. It's slim enough to fit under my helmet and it does a pretty decent job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes. Not perfect but I would say well worth the money!

I used to wear a rich, thick terry Velcro fastening band. That was really good, but it got saturated with sweat and is bulky and becomes heavy when saturated, especially if you wear it with a billed hat. (Lots of hats don't cut the mustard as sweat bands). I have also worn the great GUTR sweatband, and I will continue to do so. While the GUTR is tops for jogging, it is a poor choice for chores that require you to "look down", such as washing your car's wheels. In that case, I will get sweat on my glasses and face. I am delighted with this Halo Headband. It's thin and is sort of a combination of the thick terry band and the GUTR. It is a wide thin band with a narrow built in "gutter" band. and makes an ideal sweatband for doing such chores as washing cars and yard work and it easily facilitates a billed hat. Fine for jogging too. When I received he Halo, I was taken aback because it appeared that the circumference was too small. However, I soon discovered that it stretches and with it's Velcro fastener, becomes your ideal size.

Light weight and keeps the sweat out of my eyes without having to wear a ball cap.

I really wanted to like this product, however it didn't do great on my first outing with it. It is comfortable to wear and for about a half hour it seemed to work well. Unfortunately, with my ride in very humid, but not very hot weather, it was dripping into my eyes after about a half an hour. The material seems to soak up the sweat, but doesn't do a good job of wicking it away from the skin. I had sweat dripping in my eyes and onto the inside of my glasses much sooner than I do with just a plain lycra headband. I will give it a try in less humid weather and see if it does any better, but when I need it most, in humid southeastern weather, this is a no-go.

I love this headband. I bought it to replace the older model that I had lost, and I am very happy with it. I was worried about the velcro because I have very long fine hair , but it is a type that does not catch! And the velcro makes it very easy to fit over my hair when I have it up, coordinate with my hands-free headphones, Etc. Another Improvement they made on this sweatband over the previous model is that it has a better curve to fit over one's head. As you know if you've used one of these, it is very thin so it fits easily under my various helmets. Horseback riding, bicycling, gardening, works great all the time.

This band works great. I use it for cycling. It keeps the sweat from dripping down my face. Make sure to hand wash and AIR dry. I made the mistake of drying in the dryer and the yellow strip started coming off. Glued it back on and still works and looks great. I bought an extra one to have just in case. Great product.
