American Crew Grooming Spray for Men, Variable Hold, 8.4 oz

I use lots of American Crew products when the prices aren't prohibitively expensive. I use the Forming Cream every day to give my hair some volume and shape. However, the forming cream doesn't have a great hold so I thought I'd get this stuff to supplement it. I have to say, it works pretty well. Whipping winds are no match for the hold this product provides and it doesn't make your hair too stiff/crunchy.That said, the spritzer bottle itself is terrible. Instead of spraying a little cloud of mist that covers your hair, it shoots out like a little spritzer bottle. This results in one very specific part of your hair getting doused in spray and the rest staying dry. I don't know if my bottle is defective or if it's just a terrible spraying design, but the actual spray cans seem to do a much better job of evenly applying the product to hair.

I Bought this and the suavecito grooming spray, and I liked this one better, not as strong as hair spray, but doesn't smell like hair spray either, I have fine hair so I have to use a little more than I'd like. I combine this with gel pomade and works relatively well.

A great hair dressing for men. Contains a lot of helpful ingrediants and while helping and nourishing your hair it holds the hair in place.Don't use too much at once. A little goes a long way

The product itself is great, I've been using it for many years. Unfortunately, the shorter sprayer they switched to a year or so ago sucks. It is more of a wide stream than a spray pattern. I've been buying new ones and changing out to an older nozzle. Once that one stops working well I'll be looking for a different brand. I'm guessing the change was to save costs. I've noticed it hasn't been in some of the salons where I used to buy it and the clerk said the demand dropped so they stopped selling it. I'm guessing others had the same experience. Maybe the manufacturer will wise up and go back to the old sprayer.

It always seems hard to find the spray version in stores and when I do the price is way up there. The price is cheaper at Amazon AND it ships in two days for Prime members. Four stars for the new spray nozzle which is not as fine of a mist.

This stuff not only works, but when I hit the highway with the windows down my hair doesn't move. It almost looks fake lol. This pretty much lasts all day long.

The actual product is very good but the spray nozzle is a terrible design which makes it almost impossible to spray and needs rinsing under a hot tap each time

I have used this product for many years . It is an excellent product though I consider it to be rather expensive.My husband is reluctant to try anything else.
