After testing this light extensively for a few days I must say it’s great. It does have a few minor annoyances, but generally it’s brilliant. It's nicely packed, portable, has lots of useful accessories, including colour filters/diffusers, phone holder, etc. It is very powerful and has a remote control. From my tests I can see it is great for: 1. YouTube videos - close to camera, small rooms, selfie videos, or background light 2. Product photos and videos - one light is enough for beautiful, professionally looking photos. 3. Background light for any purposes: 3000K will create a beautiful atmosphere wherever you turn it on. 4. Working in groups of lights that need to be synchronized or controlled remotely. What I liked about it: 1. Neatly packaged in one box. 2. It comes with many accessories, including a sturdy stand, that is quite large. 3. It has a great remote control. 4. Very bright. 5. Large size - lits the face evenly all around with no shadows (also great for product photos). 6. Powered by mains and by batteries (not attached, but standard batteries). 7. Comes with diffusers of 4 colours: white, red, blue and green. 8. Comes with a carry bag. What I did not like: 1. Changing the colour is sometimes annoying. 2. Big jump in colour from 3000 to 3100K and 5800 to 5700K. So all in all, I really recommend it, especially if you don’t have any accessories yet as all those attached are really handy in many situations. I have spent a lot of money and energy buying various adapters, screws, holders etc, and here they come and of very good quality. See the attached photos and the video for more details.

one of the better + bigger Ringlights on a stand. Worth the money! Just be aware of the plastic components = delicate! For that reason I would never use this product outside, unless you are sure of a Windfree location and the Ringlight cant tip over (with possible breakage of the plastic). You can not compare the product with a sturdy professional photography tool, that's off course a different budget. Over all a decent product I would advise when looking for this kind of tool. You get a lot of handy extra's (trigger, remote, sturdy stand, carrying bag, UK&EU plug, ...). The only thing I don't use are the color filters, I do use both the warm and cold temp. on the white light.

As a ring light I think this is a great product. Probably a solid 9/9.5. My issues start with add ons. First is the remote, an excellent addition that looks, feels and works great, apart from temp control. The remote goes higher then light does and that seems stupid. then all the accessories are great additions that make a great package. Then comes the option to power it using batteries. This is probably the main thing that tipped me over the line to buy this. But it seems they developed a great product and didnt actually think about it much. The bag is well made but pointless. its padded to protect the light but no pockets or anything for all the bits or difusers and no compartment for the stand. So a genius portable ring light that isnt portable because there is no way to carry it all. think as a portable ring light id give it a 5/5.5 just because of the bag. in studio its perfect for moving around though. Excellent product with poor after thoughts.

So you're looking for a ringlight that's the best bang for your money, look no further. Ok, so you're asking, is it perfect, NO, but can you get anything else better for your money, probably NOT. But let me tell you why I love it - they've thought about the users. Just few things I love about it: - the QC 3.0 USB port on the back, what an amazing addition to never run out of juice on your smartphone when being live or just recording videos. - colour temperature change, it's not perfect, but will get the job done, when you need to match your light with the room lights or just have a creative angle to your videos. more blue or more yellow, your choice. - the accessories you get with the light. You get everything you need to get your video done, all you need is a smartphone, tablet or a camera. Theres different cold shoe mounts and smartphone holders, tablet holders, but best of all you have the light stand!!! I've bought a ringlight before and I didn't get a light stand with it, that’s such a great addition. -remote. I love that you get the light remote with it- that works great. But also a smartphone remote to trigger the smartphone video with a remote. Love it. -also great light quality. Very high TLCI & CRI rating! Overall, I love it. Just a good product. A lot of performance for your money.
