Mixing resin without bubbles
This is a wonderful machine. Purchased it to mix epoxy resin without bubbles, and surprised to find it does just that. It's so easy to use. You can adjust the speed easily, to get that perfect spot before the mixing becomes too manic. Certainly worth the money.

This is superb machine for my purposes
Been using this 2-4 times a day for cleanly dissolving vitamin powders into water. This stirrer is solid and has seen proper daily use for nearly half a year. Judging from experience with other stirrers I have owned and the fact that this one clearly has a stronger motor than prior models I fully expect this model to last for years to come. The fact that it comes with a selection of stirring bars ("magnetic fleas") makes it easy to get the right one as as depending on your container vessel of choice. Recommended buy for sure.

Does the job
Bought this stirrer to help mix kitten milk formula, which it managed very well. I did need to buy a couple of larger magnetic fleas to use with it.One minor niggle was that the magnetic flea did tend to jump and stop spinning if the speed control was turned up too quickly or too fast. Managed to get it to do what was needed.Works best if you add powder slowly to liquid with the liquid already stirring.

Perfect
Just superb ! Super quick delivery and well packed. Great range of stirrers with a long magnetic rod to take them out when finished. Very fast speed for larger amounts and also blends several liquids of different density really quick. I have these in my list of trusted sellers.

Simple and functioal
Bought this to use at work (I am a science technician in a school) and its great! Runs super quietly, very simple to use, compact so it doesnt take up too much valuable space, and gets the job done perfectly. Arrived in good time too!

Perfect for mycology
I got this for some micology work and the occasional bread making and this is absolutely perfect, it will even easily stir 3L of liquid and make a decent sized vortex (tested it out of curiosity)If you are interested in doing micology and need some basic equipment that will do the job I cannot recommend this enough

basic auto stirrer
Seems OK for water based solution and plan to use it to mix KoH electrolyte for NiFe cells. Control knob is basic but works fine with on/off click at 0. Won't be using it with anything more viscous so don't know good the torque is. Don't know what the plastic mixer material is and assuming polypropylene...

Returned after 1st full run. Great accessories.
Used to mix 2L of yeast starter for 24 hours. Worked well at about 1/3 of full power, more than this and the stirring bar flew off to the side of the conical flask. I was using the largest stirring bar for this as the smaller ones didn't even turn. Comes with accessories (stirring bars and magnetic bar lifter) that are worth £10 alone.However, the second time I went to use the magnetic stirrer it didn't turn on. Don't know if it was the motor that had gone or perhaps water ingress? Either way, Returned to Amazon for a full refund. May have just been bad luck or poor build quality.
