Doesn’t tighten enough to stay straight with a mic on it the wrong way.

I purchased this because I gave my good one away to a local radio station that is volunteer-run, dependent on donations and has very little wiggle-room in their budget. I think the key feature of this holder is that the device is molded with a durable material that is wide enough and is durable for the longterm compared to other lesser quality mic holders. This is a fantastically good product.I've had other mic holders that actually snapped or cracked, this particular mic holder will not do that. There are even a few other mic holders that have a spring-action that clamps the mic snug, holding it in place, but I have had those models break on me, also. This mic holder is durable. Wide, but durable. One consideration that I might caution others to think on is if this mic holder is too wide for a slender model such as the SM57, if that is the only type of mic that you have in your collection of gear. Because I don't own a 57, as yet, I can't report on it. Hopefully I will have an update soon.Would I recommend it to other prospective buyers? Yes.

(1) Unable to use the product until I found sources of standard 5/8" male to 3/8" female mic thread-adapter to allow attachment to standard threaded mic stand. At the very least, your product info at all purchase sites should include mention of this omission of adapter! Extremely inconvenient and disruptive to our time-sensitive needs for use of the product. (2) After adapters obtained and mic clip installed on stand and tested with wireless mic, had several senior members of our ensemble (ages 70+) test mic insertion and removal process. Most found it required more grip strength than they could provide.

These work fine for smaller mics like Shure SM58’s. The mic i bought them for was Telefunken M80 which is a bit wider in circumference, so they didn’t work for my needs.

This one is a no-brainer. Simple product which is often forgotten when planning a public address or recording event. If you have a wireless mic, be sure to order a wireless mic holder. For the uninitiated, a wireless mic basically has a little radio station built in, complete with antenna, hence the larger diameter on the bottom end. You might remember, some of the first wireless mics had a telescoping antenna jutting out of the bottom, others had a single wire hanging down. Both these items were the transmitting antennas. Now, everything is built into the mic handle, which makes a wireless mic thicker than a wired one. Happy sounds.

This was really great, it fit my wireless microphones perfectly.. Although I did have to tighten up the screw a bit to hold the weight, but overall a great & smart buy.

Love to be able to use these in our all white set ups. the stands look great with these holders on at weddings or any party that you want to make a statement. They hold our mics firmly.

My microphone fits into the holder but I always feel like it's going to slip out. The fit is on the looser side. I would have like the grip to feel a little more snug and require more effort to release.

Hard plastic, it isn't ideal for holding a mic that is sensitive to vibration.

Good quality, fits standard microphone stands. Snug fit for my Shure wireless mic, which has a larger handle, like most wireless microphones.

Great mic holder, very much like the ones that came with the system .. better if anything. Fit perfect. Recommended.
