works amazing
Hardwired my pc ,tv, and ps5 to my modem using this cable. I am on the 1gb plan and this is the speed its running through it.Cable is sturdy and so are the connectors. Price was great too.

great product
15 year old home wired very well but old cat5 wiring cracking outside at entry to house. Used 2 of these to replace 2 cat5 lines coming in. Worked great, great product. Had been concerned about this and coax that I ordered being wound too tight on shipping. Some reviews stated not able to straighten out well. I opened and relaxed coils for a few days in window sun. No issue at all of cables able to straighten. Great product!

A need for speed!
I have a very small home network. I also have both Alexa and Google devices. I got a good deal on an upgrade to Gigabit Ethernet that my provider offered. I also replaced the company supplied WiFi router with a Netgear Orbi. Using Cat 5e or Cat 6 would have worked fine. I decided on Cat 8 so that I could be as sure as I could that there were no bottlenecks due to old, excessively worn, or cables that just weren't up-to-snuff because of older architecture! The Cat 8 cables were relatively inexpensive, so I bought them. Truthfully... I really DON'T KNOW if the Cat 8 is any better than the Cat "X" grade cables. All else being equal... then going on tech specs. alone would mean that I made the right choice! Overkill? Probably! If I had it to do all over again though, I would!

Sturdy and future proof
Nice and sturdy CAT8 Ethernet Cable. Disclaimer: this did not help me on speeds switching from CAT5 to CAT8. I’m guessing it’s because my speed is 100Megs so CAT8 is meant for 200+ Megs (I’m just guessing)

Serious Speed Increase
I cant believe how much faster my internet is just by changing this cord alone. My speed went up from 280 MB per sec to 420 MB just by replacing the CAT5 from my modem to my WIFI Router! SUBSTANTIALLY FASTER!! from just the cord alone. I figured it would help but not 140MB more per second i am very pleased and i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR THE PRICE!! if your thinking about getting one JUST GET IT $8 for 120MB increase is a no-brainier
