Fits and functions wonderfully. Only con is the size of the zipper, very small. Works great in the rain and in the wind. Easy to pack because it’s a thinner material.

I bought this for my son, but I keep grabbing it off the coat rack! I love the color, the quality, and the fabric is soft and waterproof. I live on an island, and this is perfect for when storms kick up and I've got to secure things. It's got a light, mesh lining, an adjustable hood, velcro closures at wrists and along the zipper, exterior hand pockets, and an inside chest pocket. It's just technical enough, for an every day jacket, but not durable enough daily work on the water. But that's not really what it's meant for. This jacket is not insulated. It has YKK zippers, good stitching, beautiful seams, and good quality hook and loop closures and snaps. It is washable, and can be tumble dried on low heat. Do NOT dry clean. I got this jacket on sale, and it was an excellent purchase! Great quality for the price!

This is a surprisingly versatile jacket. I use this jacket in winter as an outer shell during the week. It blocks the wind completely, and keeps my body heat from escaping. With a base layer and a fleece jacket, this rain jacket provides sufficient warmth for temperatures down to about -5 Celsius. On colder days, I use a heavier wool base layer and feel warm down to -10 Celsius. I should mention that the hood is essential for warmth, as it blocks the wind from your head and prevents cold air from hitting your neck (it zips up quite high--up to my lower lip). When the temperature drops to -15 Celsius, I use a mid-layer jacket under this jacket and feel warm, though it is a tad bulky. During late fall, or early spring, this jacket provides sufficient warmth with a long sleeved shirt. Having said that, I cannot wear this jacket in summer during heavy rains for the exact reason that I become much too warm. But from late September to mid-May this my workday jacket and it has so far kept me warm and comfortable for the past 2 years. As an added bonus, it looks good and fits great. The hood zips up high to protect you, and with a neck warmer/scarf you will feel quite warm. For colder weather, you could wear a down jacket mid-layer, but for very cold weather (-30 Celsius) you should, of course,

Absolutely stunning material in dark forest (super dark green). Fit is good, not too boxy and true. Really, the only issues are: 1) it should have a better, zipped interior chest pocket. The chest pocket is on the right inside and it's velcro close, what a pain. It should be zipped and on the left. Dumb. 2) this jacket has too much velco. The velcro on the zipper flap is ridiculously loud and tenacious. So much so that the velco on the cuffs caught on the velcro on the zipper flap when zipping up the coat. The material is super nice, it's not a light rain shell, it's a rain jacket for early/late spring/fall or layered in winter, it may be too hot for summer use. Nice lined sleeves. Can't say enough about this material though, the outer material manages to feel soft yet be stiff enough not to wrinkle, very cool. Too back about the velcro and inner pocket (velcor). One nit picky thing, the velcro cuff closures have a little too much material sticking off the end of the velcro tab.... I could live with that though, just not the zipper flap velcro. Did I say this jacket has too much velcro? Check out the Adidas Wandertag (perfect) or TNF Resolve, or Columbia Watertight... but those last 2 have no chest pocket (DUMB).

Gift recipient is 5’9” 190lbs and muscular. I ordered the large men’s had room to move . He found it comfortable and true to size. He wears a medium shirt and found this comfortable. Zipper was nice and sturdy as is the material. Good Quality. Would recommend would gift . Great quality, looks expensive. Great for traveling easy to pack.

This is a great jacket, smooth feel, great waterproof-ness and breathability. It has a nice fit, trimmer in waist area, enough shoulder room, netting inside to keep it away from your skin, but smooth sleeves so easy to put on and off. I like that there is an internal Rt. chest pocket in addition to the regular hand pockets. The zippers are YKK, smooth, but a bit small, so I added paracord pulls to the main zipper and the pockets. I have already worn it in a couple rain showers and it has done marvelously at keeping me dry. The hood fits well and is easy to adjust too. It is a great overall rain jacket/windbreaker and I would buy another one if this gets lost, damaged, or worn out.

Learned about this jacket from wirecutter and it exceeded my expectations. Fit and material is great, and above all it keeps you dry even in heavy rain. What I hadn't realized is the styling works just as well in an "urban setting" as it does on a sail boat or trail; it's truly an all-purpose rain jacket.

Originally, I bought this before a project I was working on in Hawaii. The breathability and material were the determining factors. I have since purchased several more for me and my crew who work all over the west coast. Great for mild storms and cold windy days. Easy to layer up underneath. It's not 100% waterproof like other heavy PVC coated foul weather gear. But you can wear it all day and not feel like you're in a sweat suit. There is a mesh internal liner that keeps the exterior layer off your skin. Great all-around jacket.

I was impressed by the quality and feel of this jacket which seems to be both windproof waterproof, whilst being relatively light weight. Very happy, so far, I would certainly consider buying another one. The service and delivery through Amazon Prime was efficient as usual. It's not fleece lined, which I knew that from the advertised description, but worn over a short & jumper it keeps you warm & the elements at bay.

Fantastic jacket for the money! It fits very well, and comfortable to move around in. It is 100% waterproof, it's a must to survive Vancouver rain. It is also quite windproof. The grey style is very sharp, I have received quite a few compliments. It looks like a much more expensive jacket. It does breath pretty well, but not as well as I hoped. At this price there isn't much else that can compete. I would highly recommend this jacket!
