I like them better than the rubber backed vortex caps.

These are high quality scope caps. They're simple in design and executed well. I especially like the fact that they use the scope threads for mounting instead of relying on friction alone. The cap lock does a good job keeping the flip cap in place under recoil (tested on 6.5cr).I'm a fan of the product, however; it was clear upon opening the package that I received a return unit. The plastic packaging was held together by scotch tape and the back panel had been cut out with scissors..scissors that also scratched the metal locking ring. When you're spending $55 on a single cap, you'd expect to receive a new unit. I was definitely disappointed but it didn't impact the usability or function of the scope cap, hence I didn't remove stars from the rating as it wouldn't be reflective of the product itself.The primary reason for 4 stars is the value proposition. I recognize manufacturing in Canada vs China is going to incur some additional cost, but this still seems a bit steep.In short, I'd recommend these to anyone who doesn't mind the price - just know you may receive a returned unit. In my case that was fine but I know it won't be for everyone.

Someone swapped a cheap Butler Creek cap for the Tenebraex cap. I’m guessing this was a return it was resealed in the Tenebraex package. Someone has a expense good quality cap for the price of a cheap one.
