Picked up the Awesafe GF01 Electronic ear muffs after trying the Walker Razors, and much prefer the Awesafe fit. The Walkers are very tight and crushed my head (Medium/Large head) but the Awesafe have a much better fit. Still secure on the head, but can easily wear for longer periods of time without issue. Noise canceling is great and the electronic feature is a plus vs standard ear protection. Comes with two AAA batteries to get you started, a battery case for additional AAAs, a small hardcase for the headset, and a 3.5mm jack for music player connectivity. For the price it’s pretty hard to beat. Look forward to using these a lot more at the range.

So I bought two pairs of these already. One for me and one for my wife. We like them a lot. Went to the range with my boss and all he did was "WHAT?!" So I let him try on my pair and he was a fan. My boss does a lot for my wife and I so I picked him up a pair. He is also a fan. Great pair of earmuffs, great price, comfortable for up to 2-3 hours. Way more than I shoot in a session. An hour and we're heading to dinner, so this is great for the casual but consistent shooter.

I use ear plugs in addition to these when I go to my local indoor range. The Mic function allows me to hear conversations clearly, there's some static but not much. Or, if I use the aux cord, listen to music. The music quality is not the best, but for the price of the muffs its good. If you plan to listen to music often with them, I would suggest buying a longer aux cord as the one that comes with this is painfully short. The batteries do not seem to last nearly as long as the packaging says they're supposed to. I've tried several brands of quality AAA batteries and they all seem to last the same. I get about 2 or 3 trips using the mic the whole time. I had originally bought 2, then I returned a pair thinking it was something wrong with the unit, but no. All 3 pairs of them I've gotten are that way. Bring extra batteries with you.All in all, these muffs are good for the price, but not something to go tell the boys at the range about.

I bought these headphones in 2020. And it's 2024 now. They work still to this day! Hardly ever change the batteries. Someone I know bought the other brand "walkers" I thought I should update the ones I have thinking walkers was better. The walkers are not better. The person went through batteries like crazy. These things I believe turn off on their own or something as the batteries never die.Will definitely continue to buy these things!

These earmuffs are simply amazing! I can't believe how great they work. They are really comfortable. I can wear them for hours. The cups make a great seal around the ears, preventing noise from slipping in. The microphone works way better than I would have thought. You can clearly hear a conversation without the other person having to yell at you. This is so important at a range, so you can hear instructions when taking training classes or you are trying to talk with another person while shooting. And yet it completely stops the loud bang from a gunshot, even if the shot is right next to you. These earmuffs work far better than other brands that cost 2 - 3 times more. I will be buying more for my wife, daughter, and friends who go to the range with me.

I had one of the best ear protectors made, but they were so good I could not hear when the range master gave instructions or the person next to me was talking! I had to be looking at the person and basically read lips. These electronic sound amplification ear muffs are the answer to my problem. I will be honest and say they do not cut out the noise as well as my others, but they do a good job of protecting my hearing. I feel protected and I can hear everything that is going on around me! Some instructors do not recommend the electronic sound amplification ear protectors; they think they do not work. These DO work! They have solved what was a disturbing problem for me. And the colors add a feminine touch, too. :)

Pretty cool concept thats really works

I bought these for my daughter to wear at the indoor shooting range. I have used them a couple of times now before I let her try them. I have to say I’m glad I haven’t had her wear these at the range yet - they do not seem to muffle gunshots much. I have nearly jumped when certain guns are fired when wearing these. They do ok when I am shooting but not so much when people around me are shooting. They do however, do a really good job at amplifying voices around me. I will look for something else for better ear protection.

Je viens de le tester au stand cet après-midi. J'ai acheté ce casque en complément de mon Sordin Pro gel pour pouvoir fournir un casque actif aux personnes que j'accompagne lors des initiations en stand fermé. Pour le prix, je suis agréablement surpris. Les détonations sont bien atténuées avec les calibres 9mm et 45ACP. Reste à tester avec du .223 et du 7.63x39 le semaine prochaine. Les sons de plus faible intensité sont parfaitement audibles. A conseiller aux tireurs débutants ayant un budget serré.
