I love this product! It hold the knives really securely, and they are so easy to see and access. The wood is stylish. The customer service is really good. I had a situation I called customer service for and they responded immediately and handled my situation over and above. Good product! Worth the buy!!

When I purchased this knife block and assembled it, it was bowed. I emailed support that was listed in the package, they replaced the product and shipped it out next day air to me. Knife block is strong enough for actual chefs knives, looks great.

I’ve wanted one of these for a long time and finally decided to get one. This was easy to put together and it saves so much space compared to the standard block. Strong magnet on both sides, not so strong to not let go of the knife when I grab it though. It’s balanced so it doesn’t topple over. Really easy to just wipe off.

Simple idea - works well for organizing knives and eliminates the big counter-stealing "knife-block" of old. The magnets are reasonably strong and it holds all my larger knives in place well. The beauty is that the handles also rest across the top so the knives are secure but also really easy to lift off the block. You can also see clearly which blade is which - the knives are not hidden inside. Honestly, if your knives are still wet when you put them back on they will stain the wood, and also, some smaller flat knives slide down a little. - They never fall off, but slide down to the bottom and touch the base. That base actually saves your knife tips and counter from damage. All around a great purchase and nice kitchen addition.

Amazon delivery isn’t really handling these products well. I had to replace this twice because the package was damaged as well as the wood inside. BUT. I contacted the seller who gave their contact info along with the one year warranty and they were SO NICE and very quick to respond. They shipped me a brand new one and it is gorgeous! I love this. It’s nice and sturdy and the magnet is very strong. If you have a problem contact them directly.Oh! And give it a nice coat of oil before using, vegetable oil is fine if you don’t have butcher block oil.

Just assembled my knife block and I love it. The predrilled holes for the screws were perfectly aligned for the finished product and it was easy to attach the base to the magnetic block. I’m probably more impressed than I should be that they included a Phillips head screwdriver in the package.My knife block has lovely variations in the wood grain color for some nice visual interest. The wood is sanded smooth, so no worries about splinters, and is not polished at all. I think I’m going to oil mine a bit to improve the finish, but that’s for my own personal preference.I would definitely recommend this product. The smaller footprint, as compared to a traditional knife block, is fantastic, and it showcases the beauty of my Japanese knife set to its fullest. It holds all of my kitchen knives well and it is still easy to grab my knives for use. Note: sliding the knife up works more smoothly vs pulling the knife away horizontally- duh ;)Anyway, if you’re on the fence about making this purchase I would say go for it. It feels sturdy enough for its task and is a much more attractive option than your grandmas old knife block.

Perfect addition to my kitchen. This magnets on this block are very strong. I originally received a defective one but I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one right away and this one is perfect. It looks great in my new kitchen. Thank you!

Arrived cracked, likely due to the wood being too wet during manufacturing.

Purchased a few beautiful Knives lately and this magnetic block in black really makes them pop !!Magnet strength is just right without upsetting the block or shifting its position every time you remove a knife.It’s a keeper.

Very good for long and medium sized knives, had some issues with the smaller ones. Not a huge deal. Great product, easy to assemble. Would recommend!!
