Golden Bell 4 Piece 2" Spice Herb Grinder - Color:Black

I've been smoking weed for a while now to treat my social anxiety and have been looking for a Grinder on the cheap,I was sceptical about the low price,and checked the reviews before deciding to bite the bullet,man this thing kicks ass,beautiful color,great multichamber design,and sharp well grooved teeth insure that whatever herb your packin' gets pounded!,sadly shes not as sweet as she seems,keif often will get caught in the teeth and you'll have to wangjangle them around,shes a sassy but refined piece of work,my overall score is a 5/5 if the teeth where just a bit more worked on,there wouldn't be any problems

Wow, was this much smaller than I had been expecting it to be. It does a decent job but I always seem to have leftovers that don't seem to ever get ground up. Overall, I think it should work out great. My original review was only 3 stars. After Golden Bell saw the review they immediately contacted to find out how they could fix the issue. I told them that it was my mistake for not paying enough attention to the size, Golden Bell just wanted to make me a happy customer so they sent me out a larger version (2.36 inches). This larger version is absolutely the perfect size to grind enough but not take up too much room. Great company and great customer service!!!

Was excited for this, but the paint chips off into your herbs which renders it completely useless as im not going to risk my health over a few dollars.

Expect the paint to chip and end up in the collection chamber. It's very small and it compacts and smashes rather than shredding or grinding. Also the "pollen" screen lets materials through that's too large. And the ridges in the pollen chamber are annoying as hell. You get what you pay for. UPDATE: the company sent me an unpainted one for me to try and it's a nice improvement. Still has the other issues but I'm very impressed by this company's commitment to customer satisfaction.

I like to grow my own spices, but some of them don't grind so well in a coffee mill - the whirly kind sends pepper powder everywhere and a burr grinder doesn't work well with the skins. This one was inexpensive enough that I thought I'd give it a try.The mill is nicely constructed from anodized aluminum. The screen appears to be made of stainless steel. The base, screen, and lower grinder screw together, while the upper grinder attaches to the lower with a magnet.The first picture shows the mill with a tape measure next to two different peppers - cayenne on the left and Tabasco on the right. The mill is quite small, so a whole cayenne won't fit in it without pre-chopping it. I put a few of the Tabasco peppers in and ground them up. You can see the results in the second picture. The peppers are ground, but not into a powder. Most of the seeds are intact. Very little pepper falls through the screen into the lower part of the unit. Some of the skins are left in the upper grinder and need to be picked out. As others have noted, the plastic scraper is quite small; I expect it will be lost quickly.I will try this another time with dried, leafy herbs and update, but I would note that after using this for hot peppers it is unsuitable for anything smokable. The effect would be like getting tear gas directly in the lungs. For my purposes, it served as a learning experience. If you intend to use it for cooking herbs, a larger one is probably called for.

I've seen these same herb grinders in shops for $25. This thing is perfect for what I wanted. The mesh screen let's the kief fall through with ease and never gets clogged. The twisting action is smooth and never gets stuck. The teeth are so effective because they're all angled specifically and somewhat sharp. A strong magnet holds the top cap together with the rest of the grinder. The finish on the metal is nice, almost luxurious. I'm gonna recommend this grinder from this seller whenever I get the chance.

Packaging:Great packaging in a nice cute little box. No dust. Stored well.The color on the grinder is nice and pretty with a great sheen. HOWEVER, one use will ruin all efforts of having it painted in the first place. One use will cause the paint to come off. As a result, the paint chips and paint dust has entered whatever herbs you just ground up. Awful.My pictures shows the paint chips I found in my herbs. What would have happened had I made tea or used the herbs for food and someone ate that!?! Or not into it! The paint chip also looks like it chipped off with some aluminum or whatever material metal was under the paint. It was sharp and hard!Grinding Power:It’s kind of dumb because you can’t see anything as you grind. There isn’t much feeling either. With thinner lighter herbs you can’t tell if you’re done or not. I opened the lid only for my herbs to spill out. Which points to another issue, you have to pile on the herbs and put the lid down on the pile. So you’re technically squishing down the herbs with the cap.) so when you check to see if you ground everything up (since u can’t see or feel anything really) you may have a spill over problem depending on the herb you’re grinding.The herbs I was able to grind were in no way ground to a point of being “dust” or “fine powder” like some reviews claim.Once you grind it, it falls below into flakes But not powder.Sizes definitely vary and I didn’t bother to run the flakes through the grinder again because there’s a limit to the size. No point. Won’t get any smaller.Finally you can only grind very little at a time. And from the little you have ground up, nothing really falls through the sifting mesh, meaning, again, no fine powder.

I didn't get compensated in any way for ordering or review of this product. I knew we were taking a chance at $10 that this might not be a quality product, but I didn't think the metal would be this low of quality. The metal is very thin, and seems to be made of aluminum. Very noisy when grinding and unscrewing/screwing it back together. Very shallow herb catcher/ storage. The spilling over the edges while getting out your herbs with your fingertips is Enough to drive one crazy. I would recommend finding a different one for common use, this is more of a travel/ budget purchase.

Grinds nicely but only has a very small area to hold the stuff you have just grinded

Grinds herbs easily and really fine, collects so much magic dust off it. Definitely the best one I've had, doesn't get the sticky green stuff on the top. Get the most out of your herbs with this.

Bought as a present. Looks like it will do the tasks its supposed to. Hopefully they like it
