It was a bit fiddly to fit the spring to the tool but once fitted it was fine. I have had no problems with the spring falling out which I have read has been a problem on some types of these pliers.Easy to use, grip well and make stratching the canvas much easier.

These are a good frame but needs some extra work to get them together.

Complete set at reasonable price to stretch a canvas for acrylic painting. Reasonable price. Easy to do need stapler.

My dad has given me some paint by numbers pictures, so i decided to get some frames, i chose these frames as the pictures are Canvas. OMG what a nightmare , for one the frames are slightly too big , by 5-10mm , a complete nightmare, on my wall now they are coming apart , the corners have all come out, the staples are sticking out of the sides, and the canvas is becoming unstuck, why cant you sell these ready made , so all i have to do it stable the canvas to the Frame, waste of my time and money. You have to ask where is the money??? should cost about £5, as you only have around £5 worth of materials???

Despite the staples being fused together I (a woman) managed to put this together without 'turning to some males'. Better than other canvas stretchers we've tried but still definitiely quite crap.

I read the mixed reviews on this product but, for the cost, I thought I would buy a couple anyway. The instructions are useless but they do direct you to a Youtube video by P & L Art which I really recommend you watch before and whilst putting the frame together. It took me about 15 minutes to put each frame together and I was really pleased with the result. I used staples from a staple gun in addition to using the staples provided with the product which made assembly a bit easier and also used a modelling knife to trim the excess canvas at the end. Good value.

Bought it for my canvas for "painting with colours" pic and it's great. Pretty easy to assemble too.

This was ok, but cheap and my canvas didn’t fit it very well altho it’s kinda done the job. I guess this is ok for an amateur artist (ie me) but not a serious one.

I did require some help to put together and also added a few tacks/small nails as adhesion not quite enough on its own. Overall, great product.

These have been great for a lot of jobs!I've actually used them to flatten sheet metal so it's nice and smooth vs hammer and hand pressing it.I've used them to stretch fabric but also grab onto pieces of slippery cord, plastic and other materials.I've used these to help shape various types of sheet metal and steel mesh.While I have some big upholstery jobs these were bought specifically for, I've yet to get to those but still managed to use these a couple dozen times on a variety of jobs.

They seem to be of good quality, and easily able to assemble. I had to return do to odd sizing of MY material. Costumer service was great to work with. Easy return, Thanks!
