We have two cats, one that will eat until she dies and another that only eats until she’s full.We weren’t that concerned about their weight difference until recently we weighed our big girl and she was 15lbs. Our other cat sits at a (vet confirmed) perfect 9lbs (we feed her lots, she’s just very active).We decided to start feeding them in separate rooms and looked for a low calorie option for our bigger girl that would help her slim down without making her feel like she’s being starved.This stuff is magic.We haven’t even finished our first bag yet and she’s already down 2lbs!We feed each of them 1 can of wet food a day (half in morning and half at dinner) and we give them dry food in the afternoon.I would say we probably give her 3 tbsp of this stuff a day (maybe that’s too much, but she’s doing great!) and she’s been happy and looks healthier.She also had no problem switching from our other dry food to this. We introduced it gradually for a few days and she showed no sensitivity so we made the full switch and she loves it!I would love to make the switch to Hills for our wet food, but it’s just a little too pricy. Maybe one day.

Amazon carries a great product and ships quickly. My problem is with the Delivery Carriers that deliver perfectly good products but on arrival of their destination are DAMAGED by careless actions of the delivery drivers. UPS has become a 2nd or 3rd rate delivery company. Seems like there is nothing being done to correct this situation. Personally, I’d prefer to receive my purchases in good and reasonable condition.The Science Diet pet foods are high quality and this particular formula has greatly helped my young female cat reach her goal of getting her weight in check. She loves to eat, loves the Chicken Flavor but she’s taking in 1/2 the calories. On a diet and doesn’t know it! Kudos to the Hills Company for a great product!!

My daughter went to work at a vet clinic and said I needed to buy better food for the cats so they don't get urinary problems. What is more, she says they are too fat. I bought this stuff and they actually like it. I started with the science diet kitten food and mixed this in. Eventually they are eating just this diet stuff. They are still fat though. This may take some time.

the food is helping my cat's weight management just fine. however i just finished the last bag i bought in June 2024, and at the bottom of the bag there was a small heavy metal ball? my friend said it might be a piece from the factory that was broken off, so buyers be cautious to watch for that i guess? they aren't small enough for a cat to swallow but strange regardless. the previous 2 bags i bought in the past did not have anything weird. so maybe it was just this bag....

The media could not be loaded. My cats are obsessed with this food. Being indoor cats makes them a little on the chonky side, so I decided to put them on a diet. I love that they still enjoy their meals and that it’s healthy.

Same flavor of what our cat was used to. Easy to integrate.

Por equivocación pedí esté en vez de uno para gatos Senior, pero aún así, desde el momento que mi gatita de 10 años lo comió, empezó a moverse más, correr, jugar y hasta trepar árboles. Antes de darle este producto dormía todo el día, vomitaba diario y se veía deprimida, (comía Whiskas, era el peor y tmb sobres de Whiskas y por esos era el vómito, después comió uno de envoltura morada que venden en Costco, pero tampoco le ayudo mucho, aunque fue mejor que Whiskas sinceramente) ahora no se cómo mantenerla tranquila. Lo ame y definitivamente le daré este alimento a futuros gatos que tenga. Es algo caro, pero en verdad vale la pena ver cómo mejora la salud de tu gato y lo hace feliz.En solo tres días se vio el cambió, no ha vuelto a vomitar. Ahora solo falta que le compré el alimento que es para Senior, pero ya con éste que se supone que no era para ella y hasta podría hacerle mal, hubo una mejora increíble en su salud, estoy convencida que el alimento que es para su edad le hará maravillas.SUPER RECOMENDADO!!

La calidad del alimento es excelente y vale la pena para mantener a tus gatos sanos. La marca está considerada como una de las mejores en el mercado y los veterinarios la recomiendan por la calidad de la proteína, mi gata se ha mantenido en su peso y la verdad me dura bastante, siempre se recomienda que un Veterinario indique la cantidad que se debe dar al día, a mi me dura aprox 4 meses y medio.El único inconveniente que se presentó con esta entrega fue que había sido programada para un día en especifico y la adelantaron, además no me entregaron la bolsa en una caja como habitualmente lo hacen, me dieron la bolsa como se muestra en las fotos.Por suerte aún conservaba la bolsa anterior y la vacíe, pues el que no viniera en caja provocó que estuviera algo maltratada y mugrosa. Este último comentario es para Amazon.Por favor tengan cuidado en este tipo de detalles, pues parece que no se preocuparon por esto y para algunos puede ser molesto.
