Use this as a timer for our toddler for everything from timeouts to “mommy will be done in 5 minutes”She’s too young to tell time but she can see the red get smaller and hear the bell. Very helpful!Just make sure it’s standing up or it won’t ring!

This timer is what I expected, It looks just like pictured. Timer is loud enough without being obnoxious. My only complaint is the magnetic sticker on back is not reliable. I had mine stuck to side of refrigerator and the timer fell off one day - the magnetic sticker was still on the fridge, but the timer was in the dog water bowl. I was able to put sticker back on, but now have no confidence that it will hold, so it goes on the counter. Seems to still work.

I have my computer in a different room than the kitchen. You know where this is going! Burned dinner! Using this timer has eliminated that.I will admit I bought this particular one for the colour. It's a very nice turquoise/teal. And also it is a simple to use crank and go timer, like my grandmother used to have. No fussing with buttons to set it, which I like, no worrying about batteries, it works on a spring. Just twist it over to 60 minutes and reverse it to the number of minutes you want it set for. It also has a nice large magnetic backing, that will stick to any iron based object.Well worth the money.

Worked great to keep my 8yr old on track, easy to use for him. But although it was barely used, it stopped working after about a month from purchase so can't return. The magnet on the back also came off a couple of weeks after purchase but I already anticipated that based on reviews. Still gave it a chance though but it's not really worth it if you'll have to buy a new one every month :(

I had this timer for a couple of months. Over two months I found two main issues:1. Did not keep correct time. Lot of noticeable fluctuation in counting time. I should've taken measurements but from what I remember upto 5-10 mins error in a 55 minute timer.2. The adhesive between the magnet and the rest of the timer was weak. One day without touching it, it just fell with a very loud bang from the fridge to the floor. It worked even worse after that.It's not worth it. Try something else.My previous review below:This thing is humans being clever. :) The red, how-much-time-is-left visual feedback is something I never thought I needed until I saw this. I attached the timer to my fridge (which attaches nicely, thanks to the magnet). Then I go and do other chores around my apartment and all I need to do is look at the timer to roughly see how much time is left. The timer alarm is louder than my microwave timer alarm but not so loud as to disturb the neighbors. Also, the alarm sounds for a few seconds and then shuts off instead of sounding indefinitely (which many microwave timers do).One thing to note is that you will hear it tick. I have a tiny studio apartment and everywhere I go, I can hear the light ticking of this timer. This is not necessarily annoying and I can get used to the rhythm eventually.The timer attaches nicely to my fridge.

I picked this timer because it fits the needs of my kids. Time is a difficult concept to grasp. However, they can look at the timer and see the remaining chunk or sliver of time. We often set a 15 minute timer for a family clean-up and race against the timer. It does ring when the timer is up.

Easy to use. Cute and the magnet works so well. It’s also great for my 3 year old to visual see time passing when we cook or sit in time out.Update: this broke in about 2 months. It lived on the fridge but was dropped once where the front came off. The red would never line up again and the timer would continue to run and the alarm wouldn’t go off. I wouldn’t recommend this if you have a toddler because they will probably break it instantly.

We use this in our kids bathroom to help speed them along when they has a tendenacy to take to long. Has been dropped several times and still works. Easy to use, my 3 and a half year old sets it herself.
