Q: This can work to trim palm tree leaves?

Mine came kind of dull out of the box but I was able to get a pretty nice edge on it. I don’t see it having any issues getting through palm tree leaves though.

Q: How thick is the blade?

I’d say it’s the same thickness as two quarters stacked on top of each other
