PopularMMOs Presents A Hole New World: A Graphic Novel

Firstly There’s no bad thing about the content of the book itself, it is all great but I gave 4 star for the small dent on the side of the book together with the missing paper cover, I don’t know if it usually have the paper cover blanket of the book but if so then it’s missing because my recently bought book from PopularMMO’s called “Into the Overworld” it has the paper blanket but aside from those nothing is really bad about it if you love comic reading specially from your favorite YouTube stars Pat & Jen then go for this there’s no regret at all.Update: As I was started reading the book I've noticed there are page creases as it looks like it has been used before, I think they gave me a used book and I'm supposed to get a brand new one! No wonder why there are no more paper covers in the first place, rating goes down to 3 sorry. 😭

My son got stuck at the book store in the mall reading one of these books. We don’t do screen time with the exception of 2 movie nights on the weekend, so he didn’t know this from the YouTube channel or from Minecraft. I planned on ordering him these books for his birthday since he seemed to like it so much, but instead ordered the first one for his Easter basket. He was thrilled and started reading it right then. That of course was after church YESTERDAY! He’s already 1/2 way through the book for his second time reading it. I wish maybe it was longer? But he’ll start the next after his birthday. Already preordered the new one that’ll be out this year. My one suggestion- DO NOT do what Dav Pilkey did in book 12 of Captain Underpants.

My 9 year old is in gifted classes and has the highest test scores in her grade (and possibly entire school), but she dislikes reading books in spite of her being on a much higher reading level than her peers. She has recently become fond of "graphic novels"...and although I feel they are simply overgrown comic books, I am excited that she has finally shown an interest in any books at all. She loves the Popular MMO's YouTube channel and asked for this book by name for Christmas.Christmas morning came 'round, and she was gifted this book. She was excited to read it and immediately ran to her room to get started. About 40 minutes later, I walked in to check on her and she was already doing something else. I asked her if the book had bored her, and she stated, "Oh no! It was great! I finished it like 20 minutes ago and it is one of my new favorite books!". So clearly it didn't exactly occupy much time and didn't challenge my 4th grader in any way, but she loves it...so that's what truly matters the most. She put it on her bookshelf so she can read it again sometime.

I also bring it to trackers every day Ive read it probably like 20 times thats how much I love it.if I had to rate you from 1 to 10 I think your over 9000!!! Loved the book would definitely recommend for any Pat and Jen fans, really sad they broke up but happy that they continue to make great videos

My kiddos, Fiona and Seamus, have been fans of Pat and Jen from the moment they became aware of YouTube. I got this book for Seamus' 10th bday and I'm so glad I did. It was an amazing value for the price. The book itself is a durable, large hardback. The illustrations are rich and imaginative and the story is funny and heartwarming. If you're a fan of Pat and Jen this is a must have. If you enjoy Minecraft it's a must have. If you have no idea what I'm talking about but you enjoy good graphic novels it is still a must have. I'm pretty sure I'm not the target audience but I read it and enjoyed it immensely. I strongly recommend a physical copy of this delightful book.

I actually bought this for my 12 yo grandson for Christmas 2019. He really loves this book series and watches similar on you tube & TV. Enjoyed reading it many times over. A good buy for kids that enjoy Minecraft and other similar shows and games. Encourages reading even though in a comic book formatting.

I don’t know much about Pat and Jen other than the fact that my 6 year old son loves their YouTube videos. When he told my wife and I that he wanted this book we were happy because what parent doesn’t love when their kids want to read. My wife read the book with him over the course of a few nights and he was able to read about 90% of it without her help. A few days after they had finished reading it together he asked if he could read it again but with me this time so it must be a good book if he wants to read it again.

My 11 year old son is writing this review as he is the one who read it!This book is based on my favourite youtubers PopularMMos and GamingWithJen. PopularMMos {Pat} and GamingWithJen {Jen} play minecraft and create very creative characters! This book is full of those characters and their cat, Cloud. Long story short, Jen and Pat falls down a hole {suprise suprise} while looking for her friend, Bomby and an annoying sailor: Captain Cookie. They turn into their minecraft characters and go on a quest with their friend to take down Evil Jen before she turns Bomby into a zombie. I dont want to spoil the rest so, all I have to say is this is the best book I have ever read!!!!!!!

My son was delighted with this - read it in a day! He watches them in YouTube so got him this book for his birthday. It's in a comic book style with good bright pictures. Really good quality too.

My 11 year old son loved this book....he highly recommends it to those who like Minecraft 😊I highly recommend the delivery service & quality of the book on receipt - A1.Happy campers all round.

My 11 year olds obsession at the moment is minecraft this was a good treat for working hard at school (SATs and autism a fantastic combination) and coping with the pressure of the week, this was his perfect wind down book
