if i purchase a size 48 how large can it become with expandable waistband?

I normally wear a 5x shorts. I ordered a 4X in this short. It fits me very large. I easily could have bought a 3X possibly a 2X.

Are the black shorts nice enough to pair with a tuxedo?

Not sure of the question exactly, but the shorts are very nice and I guess if you wanted to pair with a tuxedo they would be fine.

do they have a band inside to help hold shirt in

The band is there and does a great job keeping the shirt tucked

Do these shorts leave sweat stains when your on the golf course sweating?
