Best thing I’ve bought for myself in ages! I’d been using those squeezey tea balls. Then it didn’t squeeze close enough. I switched to the mesh clan shell kind of ones with a clip on the side. The clip fell off from over use. I decided I wanted one that had as few moving parts as possible. This is the one!It holds a lot of tea but isn’t ridiculously huge! It closes easily and tightly and is easy to clean.I thought the little plate was sweet but my kids took it for Barbie and I’m fine with that. It’s pretty tiny and tiny things have a way of getting lost in my house.If this one ever breaks, I am 100% getting another one exactly like it. I’m considering getting another one for other people in my house, except they’re mostly coffee drinkers.

This is a great quality ball strainer, I'm v happy with it. The metal is sturdy and probably would have to be stepping on forcefully and purposefully to break. The ball is easy to screw on and off and does not get grounds or leaves stuck in either the mesh or the grooves. I wondered if the mesh would be hard to clean but it's super fine, let's no grounds through, and you literally just shake it out and run it under a tap and it's clean. I wanted this type aesthetically, I attached a custom charm to the chain with ease. You'll need to dunk it a few times to get the flavor to infuse, but that's the point, it's fine enough for even a fiber ground of loose tea. If you've never used an infuser before, you will need to dunk it and use a tad more tea than with directly putting the tea in the water or with a bag/sachet, because of the fineness if the mesh.

I love this!!! I searched for a while trying to find something that would work for the loose leaf tea that I had just ordered and I saw plenty of negative reviews elsewhere. I decided to take a chance on this one when I read the reviews and I am glad that I did!!It is easy to use, easy to clean, and I love the little tray to set it on when I remove it from my cup! You do get a few very tiny pieces that manage to escape, but as far as I am concerned that is to be expected in order to allow the water to move through and the tea to actually steep.

I bought 2 infusers. One is exclusively used for tea. The other we use when whole herbs or spices are required in a recipe. Yesterday I needed 3 large bay leaves, 4 whole cloves and 10 peppercorns in a stew recipe. These all went into the infuser with room to spare. After the stew was cooked I simply picked out the infuser with tongs. After cooling, just unscrewed the infuser and dumped the used herbs. No fishing around for bay leaves or tying and untying muslin bags. Easy!

I bought this on accident and was annoyed with myself because I had no intention of spending $10 on a tea egg. But it came, and I tried it out and will never go back. I use it almost every day. I hand wash it, and try to empty it before it dries. So far, it is sparkling, no corrosion at all. The threads are perfect and easy to fit together. The holes are small enough that very little passes through, except for rooibos, and other very fine teas. I added a heavy bead to the hook, and it keeps the chain out of my tea and looks pretty.

So the holes in the middle are a little wide compared to the other holes and some tea specks can escape. I did not have this problem with the finer ones i have owned. It can get stuck when you over tighten it so you just have to be mind full. I don't really mind these problems.

We love these tea infuser‘s! We drink lemon balm tea on a regular basis. The holes in this infuser keep the herbs inside, while giving you all of the flavor with out things floating around in your tea. Easy to use, easy to clean, very sturdy, very tight fit, and large enough to have multiple types of herbs in one infuser.

I mainly use this to make some black tea on a Yeti 26oz bottle. It's able to hang from the edge really well and the chain is long enough to go about 2/3rd of the way down. Screwing the ball is really smooth and I haven't had any issues of the threads not aligning properly. It feels premium and high quality which is what I've been looking for in a tea infuser. Highly recommend it.

Perfect size. It is larger than a standard tea ball, allowing the leaves to expand more and release the fullness of flavour. I love that it screws together, rather than the little clips on most others, because you know it is secure and won't pop open when you least want it too. Works perfectly with my Yeti too!
