Puppia Authentic Junior Harness B, X-Small, Beige

This harness could be used for either gender but being the owner of a boy "toy" dog, it's a little hard to find cute stuff that isn't gender specific. There are hundreds of pink, girly, frilly harnesses out there but not to many boy themed harnesses that aren't biker/super tough looking or just plain solid colored and boring. But, this harness is just the ticket. It's classy looking with it's red, navy, and black plaid against a beige background. My dog looks like a gent in it and I couldn't be happier. I take him almost everywhere I go and I like him to look his best while being comfortable and secure. The puppia harnesses are a great brand. This is my second one. The other looks just like the day I bought it but it's lined with thick fleece for winter and with warmer temps on the way I needed something cooler for my pup. With puppia there isn't a spot on the harness that is rough against my dogs body making for another win. It velcros around the waist coming together on the back, above that the harness gathers around the neck buckling in the back locking it together with no fail double rings to clip your leash to and the velcro waist is adjustable. I feel at ease walking my dog with this harness. The puppia brand is a bit pricey but they are made so very well it's worth the investment to have a long lasting, well made comfortable, cute, secure, harness.

I absolutely love it!!!!! it is beautiful, and great quality!!! it's Puppia, of course it's great quality and durable!!!! my dog (8lb maltese) has had the same puppia harness for 7.5 years now, and I have always been a great fan!!! BUT this one runs very small!!!!! the other puppia harness we have is size small so I didn't even think about it and ordered this one in small as well. it did not fit. I had to exchange it for a Medium. it just arrived (super duper fast shipping, as I asked for an exchange Tuesday night), we tried it on and it looks absolutely adorable on him!!!! =)

I’ve bought every size of this harness for my growing puppy. He looks great and enjoys wearing it. He loves running as fast as he can to the end of his retractable leash, spinning around, and then running back. I’m glad this harness stays on securely and is durable. It keeps him safe, and I don’t have to worry about him choking, especially since he’s brachycephalic. As for sizing, he weighs less than 15 pounds and is wearing the largest version of this harness.

Arrived promptly, It is very cute & well made. It does run very small. I read many reviews that stated the same thing.I have a 11 lb dog & I ordered a large & it fits perfect! I also ordered the matching leash & I get alot of compliments on both of them.. would definitely purchase again

This is the second harness I purchase from this company. I have a difficult time finding the perfect fit for my Toy Poodle and I was happy to find this harness. I purchased the first one in brown and it fit perfectly. Since I wanted to have more than one set, I decided to purchase it in black as well. There is couple of issues with the one I received. In comparison to the original harness, this one is larger and not quite a good fit. I tried putting the harness on my puppy but he had a fit. I didn’t understand why until I saw the hairs on the inside of the harness. My Toy Poodle is red and she does not shed so this looks like a small breed chihuahua like dog that may have worn it. I’m really upset since my puppy is not fully vaccinated yet and this can pose a vulnerability if the dog that tried this on is not vaccinated or carries diseases. I was so upset I just threw it in the trash. I was really happy with this company until then. Very poor quality control. I added photos and also a photo of my puppy so you can see there is no way that hair came from him.

I love this for my min pin; I've had issues with other harnesses being too small or too big, or just cheaply made & uncomfortable for her. Also, my husband had issues getting some of them on her. This one is super easy to put on and very secure. IT'S VERY WELL MADE and SOFT! It doesn't pull or choke her either like others. I have tried many, and this one is worth the money for sure. It's super classy too. So cute in pink. Be sure to take measurements. My min pin has a big chest so she needed a M

My Chihuahua got this harness in a Small when he was a puppy and it no longer fits his 9lb frame so I ordered the Medium. While both sizes fit perfectly when new, after a couple of washes they shrunk. Dogs roll around and get dirty! The Velcro adjustment at the back means he can still wear it but the fabric has become a bit stiff as well. It looks super stylish though and it is my favourite Puppia print to date. I use it for short city walks and he looks quite the gent in it! UPDATE 15 December 2014 - one less star! This harness (and the others made of stiff cotton) just keeps on getting smaller and smaller even though my Chi has stopped growing and now has a chest measurement of 44cm. The Medium size according to the Puppia homepage charts should fit 38-52cm so given the span, it should still fit him! I do believe these are very well made harnesses but they cannot be washed at all, even by hand?! I recently purchased two new ones from the winter collection and they are too small out of the package. Not happy.

Super cute little vest. Didn’t realize how small a large would be! It’s for a very small dog! I have a Bichon Frise and it didn’t fit. Hence Junior !!

I got the size medium for my 3.5kg chihuahua and a size XS for my 1.5kg chihuahua. Some of the people on here with negative reviews have missed they this is a JUNIOR fit. It’s not the regular puppia sizing. They haven’t change it, this harness is designed for puppies or a small breed. This is by far the best harness I have purchased for my boys!

I bought this harness for my 5 Ibs Yorkie. I love the style and the small fit perfect. It also has a little extra room to fit a thin shirt or sweater under it. I feel like my Yorkie has a secure fit with the buckle and I don't have to worry about it slipping off. Definitely will be buying a few more colours in this.

The medium fit my 10lb Chihuahua perfectly. It's great quality and washes well. Easy for the dog to step into as well.
