I knew I had a problem when I purchased four boxes of parchment paper when they were in the clearance bin at my store. The paper was fine, they were just getting new boxes and were getting rid of all the old sizes. Wasting that much paper after a single use got to me. I had seen friends and family who had the expensive Silpat mats but I just couldn't see spending so much money even if it would save me in the long run. I also do many batches at once so I would need multiples.This mat has the fiberglass weave for strength that the Silpat mats have. Some of the cheaper mats are just a thin layer of silicone and are very floppy and hard to wash. This mat is a great balance of price and quality. It works beautifully

Must have in the kitchen. I dont have to line my baking sheets with aluminum foil or butter it anymore. The biggest problem even when putting butter on the baking sheet was some things would still stick. When I make sweet potatoe I have to scrap it off of the sheet with the silicone mat I can mix it while its cooking just fine. I put everything on it meats, vegetables and even make cookies on it. Once your done usuing it you just run it underneath some soap and water and it is good to go. There is no need for scraping.

Die Ware kam schnell, war zweckmäßig verpackt, aber die Freude währte nicht lange.Die Matte fängt bei 150° an zu qualmen, da hilft kein Spülen, kein Schrubben, nicht mal die Spülmaschine.Beim Öffnen der Backofentür steigt eine graue stinkende Wolke auf, die es nötig macht die ganze Wohnung zu lüften.Der Kommentar "we are very sorry to hear that" macht die Matte auch nicht besser, ebensowenig wie der Hinweisman müsse die Matte vor Gebrauch reinigen - was ich getan hatte (Handwäsche).Auf eine weitere Mail kam bisher keine Antwort.Entweder habe ich ein Montagsprodukt erhalten oder die Ware ist nicht ausgereift,Dummerweise für mich ist nun die Rückgabe nicht mehr möglich, Zeitraum verstrichen.Kann - leider - nur abraten, die Matte ist durch den Gestank völlig unbrauchbarund über mögliche Gesundheitsschäden will ich mir gar nicht erst Gedanken machen...
