What are the ingredients?

Just ordered another bottle and recieved one with a different label. While this is not uncommon, what bothers me is the ingredients list has changed. It now says: "purified water, glycerin, coco-glucoside, propelyne glycol, benzyl alcohol, lactoperoxidase, lactoferrin, lysozyme, glucose oxidase, and zinc gluconate." The one different ingredient is listed as safe online, but I wonder if it cleans as good or if there are any long term differences. I have only ever used the one with sodium lauryl sarcosinate, which is the one listed on on ZYMOX'S website.

Is this a liquid, or more like a gel?

It is a liquid. Gels would never be used for ears!

what is difference between zymox ear cleanser sold by zymox and one sold by pet king?

I use Zymox ear cleanser for my two dogs--it is what two vets have recommended for their ear problems. I do not know what the difference is.

I used zymox on my beagle's ears for the first time but now hours later he started and can't stop shaking his head. Did I do something wrong?

Don't see how. The liquid can move in ears causes him a tickle. He will stop. My dogs do that and sometimes shaking their loose gunk comes out.
