Merino Wool Roving Top - 21um Needle Felting DIY Craft Materials (-3.5OZ) (Medium Gray)

I'm using the roving wool for a wall hanging that I'm making, and I love it. I've never used roving wool before, so I had a hard time figuring out how many ounces I needed to buy. This set of roving ended up being perfect - I have plenty of each color. The roving wool is super soft and fun to work with, and the colors match the online images perfectly. The quality is great.

This is everything I expected. The color is consistent as is the texture and softness. It pulls apart very nicely and doesn't get knotty. I'm using it for dry needle felting and it works wonderfully. You get a LOT in this pack!Here is a comparison of the natural color to some pure white, a bag of light gray, and a tuft of black.

I made some DIY Scandinavian gnomes for Christmas and was originally going to use faux fur to make their beards and mustaches. I wasn't having much luck finding anything I could use on Amazon (shocker, and I didn't want to order and cut up a fuzzy pillow) but I happened to see this and was glad to find it. I've never used roving before, so I did a quick Google search to make sure I had the right idea, and boom, perfect. It's worked out splendidly. If my gnomes don't go missing (they are pretty darn cute) I'll post a photo -- they turned out really well, and I'm very happy with the amount of consistently good, soft cream wool I got for the money.

My wife enjoys needle-felting, so this product keeps her out of trouble. That earns it 5 stars.

I am new to needle felting and started with a basic kit of small amounts of many colors. I wanted to get a large amount of black and white wool so I could use it for basic forms of small animals Inam making. this is lovely wool, and a good price for the amount.

I made my first pompom using this type of wool. The colors are vibrant and give some character to your projects.To be honest, I am proud of myself and the result is pretty good.The wool is soft easy to wrap and felt. It is also cost effective.Will certainly reorder this type of wool but also from this seller.
