Looks cute
This was for a gift so I can’t speak to the attributes, other than it looked cool and made a good gift for a camping friend.

Treasured Memories
We use our camp journal in a semi unconventional way. It's part journal, part photo album which we love. Everyone loves to look at it. I'm back for another. The hazzard with this use is that it gets too puffy to use all the pages so I'll be removing and pages that exceed our puffiness requirements :). I'll just start a new one. The spiral binding allows for more space that a regular book binding so that helps.

Great little camping journal!
Perfect to keep those little details handy when camping and allows for a picture. Great gift for those who camp and enjoy the outdoors.

Nice way to keep memories
Bought two of these - one for me and one as a gift. I've been keeping a log of our RV travels and it has come in very handy to review notes from campgrounds we've been to.

Great camping journal, especially if you camp at continuously different camp grounds.
Starting with quality, this journal looks and feels nice. Very Sturdy, nice binding, and the pages feel high quality. The categories given are great, and encourage you to look around the campsite (such as the section where you put which campsites you rented, and then a section for better sites for the next time you visit the same campground).I like that the backside of the page is just lined for notes. We usually make a list after each campout of gear that needs replaced, tips that we need to remember (take extra trash bags, etc) for the next campout.I only wish there were more pages per campout. You get one page front/back. We camp about 2 times per year, and while this journal could easily last the rest of my life, I'd rather have more room for each campout, with even more sections to fill out. Also, our family goes to the same campsite almost every time, as we meet at a central location for our families. This makes about half of the page redundant. Something to think about if you do the same. If you camp all over however, this would not be an issue.

Keeping the Camping Memories Fresh and Alive
If you're like me, eventually camping memories fade to point where you cannot discern one spot from another. Fear no more with this journal. Keep it up and you'll always know and remember what you did where, when and with whom.Pages too numerous to count have the following information in which the owner might fill in:Twenty-two spots in which to fill in range from date to weather to location to people met and notes, campsite, recommended sites, etc. As long as the owner keeps the information up, they'll always be able to remember nearly everything there was about that campground and even make better choices next time..We liked this so much we bought the campanion journal for camping trips. This journal is highly recommended for anyone wanting to keep their memories fresh and possibly share them with others. It would make a wonderful "camper warming gift" for your family or friends purchasing a new or new to them tent or camper.Memories of good times are our gift to ourselves. Time may blur the memories and time may blur the pages, but it won't be any time soon.Happy Camping,SP, CJ & JD

Write down info for future return trips to camping spots.
This book is great for jotting down info about your camping spots. Some questions prompt you to answer, like name of campground, how you made the reservation and how long in advance, date,& weather, Lots of area to fill in extra info, like I add if site has a BBQ Stand or firepit. Was the site shady in morning or evening? I write down if the campground has nice bathrooms or pit toilet. If showers are free or if I need to bring quarters. Even if the water tastes good, or if we should rely on jugs of water from home for drinking/cooking(we've been to some places high in iron(metal taste) or high in sulfur(like smell of matches). I also make note now if this place has a playground for my grandkids and a safe swim beach area. All this info HELPS ME when I go to make reservations for future times at this campground, also I write down better sites you notice on walks around camp loop, for return camping.
