Orbit SunMate Hose-End 58049N Plastic Soaker Irrigator

Very disappointed.The female side of Bubbler is too small -- cannot connect it to my garden hose.- Also I live in Arizona where it is typically 105-118 all summer. The plastic is very THIN and may not last very long.Needless to say I am returning them.

I got this soaker so I could evenly soak my soiled veggie raised beds all at once without splashing soil onto the veggies and that is exactly what this one does! I have owned one before and this one was comparable. I would of given a 5 star but this one doesn’t quite shut off all the way right out the package but it wasn’t bad enough to make a stink and I still am able to conserve on water when switching from one bed to another. There is a knob/dial on top that allows you to control how much water you want to use. It’s off, then low, medium, and high.

Purchased because of water flow adjustment on the device so as not to go back and forth to faucet. Adjustment did not seem to make much difference in amount of flow so have to go back to faucet to adjust. May purchase the metal one next as would expect it hold up for a long time. Works but adjust has a lot to be desired.

The flow control does not stay where you set it. It moves freely and it hard to set and keep the flow where you want it.

I love using this to water my plants. It allows quite a bit of water to flow without disturbing the soil or making holes in the ground like using just the hose. It’s better than using a sprayer to water plants because all the water is absorbed through the roots anyway, so this method doesn’t waste water or discolor flower petals. Highly recommend for any gardener!

I have a big lot and lots of trees. I use lots of bubblers. The metal one are functionally great but no durable. These are good and durable.

My house has extremely high water pressure, so this bubbler saves me from blowing away my plants, mulch, and soil. In fact, this functions perfectly, with water tumbling out without flow energy. It doesn't look very cool on the end of my beautiful new water wand, but at least I don't have to worry about it corroding to the end.I've been using it for about 2 months now and I'm very happy with it.
