XT90 Connector 5 Pairs Male Female Connector for High-Amp Lipo Battery

HOLLY GIANT CONNECTORS!! lol
So, I wanted something larger than what I had because of the amount of power I'm running in my RC... Could have gone with the 60 size and been just fine. ZERO complain about product! BANG FOR BUCK for sure!I am running, a LOSI 8... 5amp 4 cell with a 2650kw motor and high output speed controller basically i play with a Demon for an RC car. The amount of juice flowing through the battery connector got so hot due to resistance it melted the solder on the wires to the plug. installed these and it handles the power much better.** Great Product! Great Quality! and plenty in the bag for mistakes! hahaha

Great. All came as instructed.
I like how these are much higher amp rating than the last connectors I used. I soldered these onto batteries for an rc car. They work great. They are completely plastic casing though. I'm pretty sure that the AMASS ones are made from heat resistant material that is more rubbery. One female connector was a dud all together. The negative side had a soldering end but the plug in hole had a small layer of metal about 5mm wide on the inside of the hole, but then the rest of the hole was hollow plastic. It wouldn't plug into any other plugs all the way. I was glad I didn't use it or that could have melted the whole connector. Look in the pictures and see the one with only a metal strip at the top.

Not quality XT90's - melts easily
I bought a package of these (which, as one reviewer pointed out, didn't come with back-end plastic caps either) and found it next to impossible to solder these without the pins melting straight out of the connector shell.I doubt it was my soldering technique either - each time, I would solder with a mated plug on the other end as a heatsink. Also, I had zero trouble soldering similar MT60 connectors at the same time. I'm convinced quality, not skill, is the culprit here.

Great buy look no further.
Great value, can handle an ass ton of current. Make sure you wet the inside of the cup with a high powered soldering iron before attaching pre tinned(bought or tinned yourself) into the cup. Bad connections at high amps will melt these together or out of alignment. If soldering the male side clip it into the female. And lastly. Dont forget your shrink tube.I run 8ga leads for my phases and my battery connections from the bms. You can make it fit, just be creative.

Skip these connectors
These connectors are not worth the money. Buy better quality connectors. These are just junk. It is too bad that amazon lets these low quality stuff come out of their warehouses. Shame on me, I should know better.

XT-60 connectors are very rugged and easy to work with
XT-60 connectors are very rugged and easy to work with. The plugs can be soldered and un-soldered as a person needs. Ten pairs of connectors was a good fit for my needs. Had three batteries to fit, plus two quad copters. I screwed up one of the female connectors when I first tried working with it but that was all my fault from lack of experience. I have a good handle on them now and really enjoy working with them.

solid connectors
I've replaced the connectors on all of our ESC's with the xt60 as well as a couple batteries we had that came with deans connectors as 90% of our batteries had the xt60 so now everything matches and soldering them on was easy.

Heat shrink too large
The heat shrink tubing that came with my XT60 connectors is way too big. The tubing needs to be big enough to fit over the metal connection points and small enough to insert into the plastic connector itself. It's far too big to insert into the connector, and it won't shrink enough to tighten around my wires.
