Essential Cell Biology

I just purchased this book, but I can say already that as a pre-med bio student, it does an exceptional job at explaining complicated topics in a clear and concise way. The diagrams and visuals are thorough and very helpful. The organization and "flow" is well thought out and the content isn't overly dense on any given page. This is not the assigned book for any of my classes, but it will be my go-to cell biology guide moving forward! Highly recommend.

The printing quality has been decreased significantly.I have Molecular Biology of the Cell(2002) which has superb page quality and glossy page..This edition has comparative low printing quality although color page..

The textbook is great for an INTRODUCTION to molecular cell biology course, but I preferred the original version since it has more detail than the essential cell biology textbook from Alberts. The cover is lovely I loved the texture of the cover, so fancy.
