The book came in great condition and I was pleased to find that I can trade it back in for an Amazon Gift Card. Didn't do so well in the class (got a C) but that had nothing to do with the great quality of this book.

This book was very helpful. Well written. I learned about programs that I was not aware of that exsisted in aiding people around the world. One program that interested me was "Plumy Doz", and I intend to do some research on it.

This book has been very helpful for an online class I am taking! It provides comprehensive insight into global health topics.

The main issue with this book is that there is entirely too much content covered in each chapter. Instead of focusing on a few high priority points, the author seems to get bogged down in a myriad of statistics and nuances that don't really add a lot of value to the chapter.It is very difficult to get through the text and eventually one resolves to just skim the chapters to parcel out the main points instead of reading all of the fine details. For an entry level global health book, I found this to be book to be too ambitious.

Nice, user-friendly global health book! I recomment it to anyone interested in working for life-saving projects worldwide or in getting a sound oversight on the subject.

Nicely laid out book, good summaries after the chapters, broad in its scope, good read and ideal for MSc students.
