These definitely leak if left open. But they don’t have the valve that other bottles have so that’s expected. They are sealed tight and don’t leak when closed. They are very durable and easy to clean all the separate parts without worry of mold forming. I would suggest this of kids that are old enough to understand how to close it all the way and to not leave it on its side. I do think they are a little costly considering the size and not leakproof.

Good but hard to open
These overall are good. Only issue is they are actually hard to pull the straw spout up. My 2.5 year old usually needs help. My 4.5 year old can do it fine. If the straw spout isn’t closed it leaks all over. They are handy and good for a small sized water bottle.

Great cups BUT not for toddlers under 4
I bought these for my kids (3 and 4) for school. My 4 year old can open and close without problems, but my son (3) can’t open it and gets frustrated. Certainly can’t send him off to school with a cup he can’t open up, so that was a bummer. Other than that, they’re nice quality, leak proof cups I wouldn’t mind buying again.

Great straws
Love these. Much wider straws than most kid cups (not leak proof when not closed) but the kids drink so much more water than they do with other cups. They’re kind of small but it works well for us.

They Leak!!! A lot!!!
I love how easy these are to clean - there are no hidden parts to worry about growing mold. But ours definitely leak and there’s no getting around it. Even if I hold the straw down with my finger and tilt it upside down it leaks. I’m confused as to how these are advertised as leak proof. I wish they didn’t leak because I love them otherwise, but they cause too many problems for us. If I have them in our backpack and bend over, they leak all over me. If my kid uses it in his bed at night and it tips over, the water leaks everywhere. They are a disaster when it comes to leaking and I have to find new water bottles.

Worked great for our daughters birthday!
We use these for a goodie bags for my daughter’s fifth birthday party which was at a climbing gym - They work great for that and since I have gotten many compliments on how much the parents like them. They are lightweight, do not like, and cute
