This is a very good tool for splitting the logs ready for the fire. It came straight away, proof and signature was needed to hand it over to me which is good these days. After a little trouble getting the axe cover off I used it on the logs and was pleased it came very sharp to cleanly cut the logs.Well pleased with this axe after reading a lot of reviews on them all.

Use for chopping my wood up for log burner. My logs are already split but I use this to cut them smaller to fit. Great axe, does the job and feels solid, I would recommend.

this is a very comfortable axe that chops small logs of wood easily. The handle is very lightweight so it is easy to gain momentum with it. The head is nice and big and feel sharp and heavy duty. I was very happy to see it came with a safest case (many do not) for easy transportation/storage. This feels like a good quality axe which my husband has had no problems chopping wood with.

Great bit of kit for chopping up little logs, we’re going to put it in our camping supplies box, so it is fantastic that it comes with a safety cover! You have to slide a latch down so it’s harder incase little hands get hold of it they won’t be able to remove the cover. I’m looking forward to being able to chop up some wood on our next adventure

We get a ton of wood for our log burner in irregular sizes (my brother in law is a carpenter) this small axe (Hatchett?) is ideal for knocking it into a more wood-burner friendly size. It's also been ideal for knocking last years Christmas tree into small enough bits I could finally get it in the green bin! Small, well-made, sharp.

An excellent small chopper: very lightweight with a hollow handle but good tough and hard- wearing blade. The axe comes with a plastic safety cover for the blade, which is easy to put in place. Perfect for cutting small logs, branches or pieces of soft wood.

This is a nice sized axe. It is great for chopping logs for the fire. The handle is mainly fibreglass making it really light and durable. The axe seems to be good iron and is lasting well so far. The weight is balanced right at where the head meets the handle making it really good for controlling when chopping.It also comes with a protective cover, which was a little tricky to fit the first time but there is a knack to it, this is also quite sturdy. A really good axe for chopping logs for fuel.

This is a modern designed little ax which is really handy for cutting down small trees, or branches or even to help dismantle old unwanted furniture.It has a nice and sharp blade and the head is made if a very strong, tough and durable material which means it slices through with ease.The handle is of s tough but fairly light plastic. Not so light so as not to get a good swing but also not too heavy.The guard for when not using it is a very nice feature. You slip the ax head into it then it has a slider to lock it in place securely and then there is no risk of cutting yourself on it.Overall a very hand hand ax

Es justo lo que quería. Un hacha no muy grande para abrir troncos. Con solo prácticamente dejar caer su peso sobre el tronco ya lo abre. La forma del hacha es perfecta para ese cometido. El mango parece resistente. La unión parece sólida. Tiene una protección de plástico que me gusta. La entrega ha sido muy puntual y adecuada. Un producto recomendable. Muy contento.

Kam bereits mit guter Gebrauchsschärfe, habe sie dann auf Küchenmesserschärfe mit einem Diamantschleifstein gebracht.Nach 3 Stunden Gartenarbeit mit Brennholzspalten, Gehölz trimmen und zerkleinern war die Schärfe noch vollständig erhalten, und die Schneidkante liess keinen Grat erfühlen und auch sonst waren keinerlei Beschädigungen aufgetreten.Es liessen sich sowohl feinere Arbeiten wie Stöcke anspitzen, Keile herstellen durchführen, als auch Äste ( ca 8cm Durchmesser) zu Brennholz aufspalten.Alles in Allem: Tolles Gartengerät. Mal sehen wie langlebig es ist. Falls der Axtkopf einmal locker werden würde, könnte man ihn nicht wieder stramm nachstellen wie man es bei einer Axt mit Holzgriff machen würde.
