Gabriel Cosmetics Liquid Foundation, Organic Formula- 1 fl oz. (True Beige, 1.0)

I’ve used Gabriel foundation off and on for over a decade. The look is natural, never “made up,” yet conceals pretty well. The formula sometimes gets stuck at the opening; can’t coax easily by dabbing or shaking, so I use a rat tail comb pick. Well, gotta do what you gotta do!

I love this product. It is shear and goes on easily.. my only hope is in the future it come in a pump form.. Very hard to get it out of the bottle…

This foundation fit my needs. I was looking for something that had all natural ingredients and could pass the EWG stringent analysis. Which this product does. Then I had to try to find a shade that fit me. It is a little bit sheer but it does take more than one coat for a cover-up. I like the idea of using a darker shade during the summer and a slightly lighter shade at winter time, I’m going to try that.

I wanted to love this foundation but it’s been maybe the worst I’ve ever tried. I’ve been using this for about 4 months and experienced some of the worst acne and breakouts that I’ve ever had. I’m an adult, so I don’t usually get full face acne but something about this foundation just clogs my pores.Additionally, the smell is really bad, the application process is a mess due to the bottle and the foundation goes on very poorly. It seems to just smear over the skin without blending, looks very watery and streaky. I have combination skin and it leaves my oily spots extra oily and my dry patches even more dry.While the ingredients for this are great and more natural than most foundations, that’s about the only good thing to be said.

I've been using this for years. I found the right shade in a health foods store that had a makeup selection. I wanted nontoxic, cruelty-free products and I found this. It's very silky and pretty thin, not heavy, so you don't look or feel like you painted your face some shade of skin tone. No chalk-like feeling, it distributes evenly. I have mixed feelings about wearing a liquid foundation. I've also used powder foundation, which as far as I can tell looks like I dusted my face a sort of yellow color -- not happy with that, either. I don't like looking "made up" (unless you compare it to the rather scary alternative of a blotchy face!). Sometimes you can feel it on a hot day as a layer on your skin, as you can with any foundation. But if you're going to use liquid foundation, this one is a top choice.

Sheerness just right, no matte finish. Smoothes on nicely!

I have been using this product for 3 or 4 years. I love it - it covers well without looking like I have any on, the color is perfect and it has very little scent (which I like). I would have rated it a 5, except that it's very hard to get out of the bottle. I have to hit it hard on my palm to get any out, and then sometimes too much comes out. I wouldn't want it to be any thinner and wouldn't like a plastic container, but would suggest a wide-mouth jar! It takes very little to cover my face and lasts a long time. Will keep using it, despite the bottle.

I have been using this foundation for probably about 6 years and decided to finally write a review as I was re-ordering. This is by far the best foundation I’ve ever used and I’ve tried a ton through the years including many “natural” and mineral ones. Most brands completely lie about being natural.After developing many skin allergies and sensitivities and discovering that most makeup either contains lead or aluminum, I went on a search for the cleanest most hypo-allergenic makeup I could find. My main requirement was that the brands lipstick needed to be completely lead-free.That is how I found Gabriel Cosmetics/Zuzu luxe.There is no lead or aluminum in these products! If you research you will find this is very rare. Even other major brands that specifically claim to be natural, I have found aluminum in at least one of their products always. Gabriel and Zuzu are the only products I can wear on my eyes. I buy it directly from their website, amazon and Whole Foods. I also love all their other products. You can also recycle your Gabriel/Zuzu lipstick tubes with them and get free lipstick which I love!This moisturizer is very hydrating and creamy. I have mostly dry skin. You can layer it and have it as thick or thin as you want to and it blends really well.Toxin free, lead free, gluten free, the best.

Absolutely horrible product! The color in the bottle was a nice warm to neutral nude. As soon as I put the product on my face it immediately oxidized leaving my whole face orange. I tried to spread the product using my hands, a beauty blender and a brush and it wasn't spreading. It became sticky the moment I put it on my face and the application was patchy. There was no coverage whatsoever, the product smelled absolutely disgusting and for the hefty price tag- this was one of the worst makeup purchases I have ever made. I will be returning asap. There are many very reputable and great mineral/organic brands out there, that are far superior to this. NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT waste your money and buy this.

I love Gabriel products because no animal was killed in the making of them nor were the products tested on animals. I am so grateful that no animal suffered for me. The Foundation is silky smooth and covers up blemishes quite well. In addition, it gives my skin a healthy glow. Thanks Gabriel!
