I've never used this before. Any hints on recipes to use it in? Scrambled eggs?

I used this during the pandemic when I couldn't get fresh. I used it in a corn/bean/red pepper salad and it worked great since there was enough moisture to rehydrate the jalapeño. I also used it in soups and stews. I don't eat eggs but I am sure it would work well.

Can you store these for a long period of time? i ha e a friend that preps and he was looking

Yes, freeze dried can store longer than most methods comparatively. They still have an expiration date. We use alot of these for when so e foods are out of season. It doesn't freshen up good but to mix in with something, perfection.

Honestly to answer your question . It depends on the item. But freeze dried jalapeños can last for at least 1 year or longer. Depending on where you stored it. We have dried chives in our house and is been in the cabinet drawer for almost 2 years and is still good. Keep it away from wet areas . And stored in the cabinet at room temperature and your freeze dried jalapeños will last for awhile. I hope these helps

easy way to add real peppers to a dish, great for travel cooking

Lighthouse dehydrated veggie

I like lighthouse these are convenient for me and this I like it I like the spring onion the jalapeno sometimes I get the red onion and they do have a good salad dressing one that you mix you know for some vegetable in your little sauce or whatnot or your salad but I like lighthouse and I recommend these if you want to add a little jalapeno and you don't want to get the ones in the can that has the are in the jar that has the seeds and all they say the seeds is what's the hottest in the jalapeno but some people take the seeds out but I just like these you know for extra little heat and I just love the Heat and it loves me LOL yeah I recommend these jars of little dehydrated veggies so they all kinds of I'm dehydrated a vegetables that you would use her but I should say jalapenos and a vegetable or I don't know but you know that's easier for me I like having those around it just works out for me and I like the Lighthouse brand I've been using it for years they got good blue cheese dressing too thank you I recommend lighthouse
