I quite literally had this device configured and functional in less than 4 minutes. It works exceptionally well for my aquarium light! For anyone else who was curious, you can have multiple on-off timers set per day. Mine is configured like this. Weekdays: On 6:00AM, Off 8:30AM, On 2:30PM, Off 9:00PM. Then, weekends On 7:30AM and off 9:30PM, screenshot attached.BTW, did you know that interrupting the light cycle like this can discourage algae growth? A break in the lighting allows CO2 to build back up, helping plants and hurting algae. I also love it because the lights are on as we're getting ready in the morning so we can enjoy our fish, and then on again when my wife and son get home from school and all evening without exceeding the recommending light durations.

Worked well for about a month. It no longer connects to the network. I tried troubleshooting but no luck. I’d be willing to exchange for another (because I really liked it for the first month), but my window closed a week ago. ☹️****UPDATE*** (2/26/18): I had a device that went defective just outside of the window period to return. Because I was unable to return I wrote a review on Amazon. An astute employee at TanTan read my review and contacted me. They helped replace my device in a quick and satisfactory time period. I was very pleased. I opted for a replacement rather than a refund because I really do like the device.

I wanted to get into the home modernization so I decided to start with this product. To my pleasant surprise the little plug works great. The software was very easy to install and seems very powerful. The software can handle a LARGE number of devices. After playing with the software I was very impressed with all the different options it has to control this device and all the other devices that can be synced to the software. For instance on your phone you have an on/off button, a timer that will turn off the switch in a given number of minutes, or you can program it to have the plug come on and off at certain times during the day.I have included a few pictures of the product and a very short video showing how the manual switch on my phone controls the light attached to the plug.Overall I really can’t find anything wrong with this smart plug and after my experience with this device I will more than likely purchase more smart home devices.

Works flawlessly with Alexa and Google Home. Simple to set up. AI iser the Tuya app to connect it because I have other outlets on Tuya and this one is comparable with Tuya. Small enough that it won't block the second outlet.

The TanTan smart plug was super easy to setup. I downloaded the free iPhone application and had the outlet connected to my home Wi-Fi within minutes. It was easy to have my Alexa app find the device too and having voice control of the lamp I have connected to the outlet is pretty useful. Thank you!

I have a few of these smart plugs through out my house, two from a different manufacturer, they are all linked up through my Amazon Echo and they all work seamlessly, the other two were about double the price so for the price this is a steal.

Cannot believe how well this works. Put the socket plug on our family room lamp so I can control from my phone while watching TV on the couch. App is very easy and works with ease 100% of the time. Alexa integration was easy to set up and works flawlessly. Can’t believe the quality for the price. I’ll be buying more. **UPDATE!!!! Very disappointed to say that this lasted me 8 months and died. It started to turn my lamp on/off/on/off at random intervals, for no reason, then one day just completely stopped working. So disappointed. A great product but terrible longevity. Dont waste your money.
