Clock is super quiet.. you can only hear a soft clicking if your ear is against it. I purchased the carbon zinc batteries as recommended (because my old clock wouldn't keep time..kept slowing by a few minutes each day - but I was using regular batteries in it). I've taken a star off because the rose gold rubbed off over the four sides that were pressed against the cardboard inside the packaging. See images. All it would have taken is a thin layer of foam to prevent it happening. Not the end of the world.. but it's a bit noticeable if you are within four feet of it.

I wasn't expecting much for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The color is adorable and the clock is so quiet. I am a light sleeper and needed a clock you couldn't hear. Highly reccomend.

I liked everything about this product. I've ordered 9 of them for my home.I thought one wasn't working anymore and sent in a terrible review. I apologize for doing that.I found out it was working fine--but my 71 year old mind wasn't. All I had to do was change the battery to a new AA and it worked perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

When you examine it very closely, it’s clear that this is not an expensive product; however, nobody is going to inspect your clock like that, and from 2+ feet away, it looks really, really. Nice. It is very easy to read from the other side of the room, and the look is very aesthetically pleasing. It isn’t 100% silent, meaning if you put your ear about one foot away from the clock and listen hard, you can hear the ticking, but it is honestly not at all disruptive, annoying, or even noticeable if you’re not actively trying to listen for the ticks. This does need a special battery, so be sure to buy the battery type listed in the description.

This is a very beautiful watch and it is silent which is so good. I hate the tiktok sound in watches because I am a very light sleeper. It looks gorgeous in my house. I bought the rose gold edge and absolutely love it.

I like the style and how it fits in our kitchen! I haven’t seen any issues with it running fast/slow after a few months of use, as other posters have suggested. The whole thing is plastic, but you can’t tell when it’s up on the wall - looks like rose gold. I think the plastic is a fair trade off to get affordability since it doesn’t affect the use or style in the slightest. I hate the sound of ticking clocks in the middle of the night (it’s the Captain Hook in me) and this is truly silent.

Purchased it last year and liked it at the beginning. However, it only ran for less than a month and stopped showing the right time. I replaced the battery and it ran for another month then struggled to show the right time. I replaced battery again, and it ran another month only. It is very annoying to replace the battery every month. The handle did not run smoothly at some point. I guess that is the reason why it caused it to use up battery quickly. The return window already closed after replacing the battery a few times. Tried to replace the mechanical part, but what I got does not fit the clock. It is just a waste of money.
