Time Out Camping Trailers (Pull Behind Motorcycle or Small Car) (Easy Camper)

I tow our Timeout with an 09 Goldwing MC. NEGATIVES: MPG/s drop slightly when towing through mountains. It takes us about 6-7 minutes to set up. The last negative is that there are no breaks in the camper. Since I am towing with a MC, it takes a few more feet to stop (if using a car this might be unnoticeable). It can take some thought and creativity to get everything you want as far as extra's (see bottom paragraph). POSITIVES: Plenty of attachments to add on are available. If you do not have much storage space, only small spot in the shed or garage is needed. When set up, this is a large, standing room, MC camper. For two people, gear can be stored inside. I met another couple with kids. They put a hitch on their economy sized car and slept their kids inside. ADVICE: Be creative! We have a 30 amp extension cord with 4 outlets. A tarp, poles, and tents stakes serve as a kitchen area (also used in set up in rain). We have a Jackery to plug in a small fridge during travel and for electric at non-electric sites. The fridge and Jackery are to big to set inside during travel but easily go on top in the travel top. Some have chosen the ice chest attachment that attaches to the hitch. Our one attachment is the travel top for extra travel storage. Also, get some bungees and strap stuff to the poles during travel. If you want to minimize space, think of getting smaller more powerful heaters and air conditioners (electric needed). Be creative!!
