This chair is HEAVY
Chair arrived 11 days before expected. Super fast! All the parts were neatly included, with a spare of each screw and an extra screw cover, and the allen key tool that came with it is super comfortable and easy to use. Assembly was fairly quick and easy, instructions are mostly pictures, but easy to understand and well labeled. Only complaint on assembly is that the chair is so heavy that it did actually make it more difficult to put together than other chairs I've put together with all the lifting and dragging it around to get to all the screws. I had to set it on a table and sit in another chair to get to the screws to fasten the back to the seat of the chair. Also, when the instructions say to wait until fully assembled to tighten screws they mean it! I do recommend putting it all together, have a seat in it just to get it settled, and then tighten the screws one more time. It was good before that last tighten, but after it's perfect. The parts themselves are super heavy duty and well put together, and I feel like this chair is going to last a long time compared to others I've used in the past. I will say the wheels are the pretty standard plastic chair wheels, so I did buy a set of the skateboard style wheels that were rated for 600 lbs. They raised it just slightly from where the wheels that came with it would have been, but feel more solid. Just one of the skateboard type wheels weighs almost as much as the whole set of five of the wheels that came with it. Definitely recommend the upgrade. Now that it's put together, it's super comfortable. The seat is wider than on any chair I've ever used, and the padding is extra thick and supportive. The chair is wide enough for me (5'8", 330 lbs) but also high enough for my fiance (6'5" 170 lbs), and it's almost impossible to find chairs tall enough. I'm actually ordering a second one for him today. I will say the massage is pretty light so if that's a major feature you're looking for, it might not be strong enough for you, but it was comfortable enough as an added bonus.I wouldn't say the chair leans forward like I've seen with some other chairs, but it doesn't feel like it rocks back as much as I'm used to or prefer. Will fiddle with it though and see if that changes. If it does, will come back and update.Overall, definitely a 9/10.

GREAT Chair
I use this chair in my home office. It is so comfortable and functional. On occasion I lay it all the way back and grab a rest. The leg rest comes up to support your feet and it is very durable. The chair requires minimal and simple assembly when you receive it. Nice functionality to adjust to make it just right for you. Great value and great quality!

Only slightly less infuriating than standard office chairs.
I've had this chair for a month. A single month. While not a small man at 300 pounds, that puts me well under the 500 pound limit and it's already bending and breaking. The left arm didn't properly line up from day one, so it was a challenge to get this together to begin with. As a large man who has had to replace many chairs, I've assembled my fair share and never had this kind of trouble. The lever that controls whether or not the seat pivots backwards is already not working properly, so if I allow myself to lean back in the chair, it shifts slightly sideways putting my back out of alignment and causing a great deal of pain after a long work day.I am thankful for the cushioning on the seat itself, and the hydraulic lift does support my weight, thankfully, but the rest of the chair isn't made of anything any more durable than a $70 office chair. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in my purchase, and I would issue a return on it were we not in the middle of a pandemic, me having no choice but to work from home, and my only alternative to use while I wait for a replacement is a metal folding chair. Imagine 8 hours a day in a metal folding chair. Ugh.I knew it was a risk spending this much on a chair. I made a mistake. :(

Trying again
In the past dozen years, I have bought a dozen office chairs from big box stores rated at 250-300lbs and not a one of them lasted a year. Three years ago I bought the 400lb version of this chair and loved it. Last week I had a small problem. There are short "pipes" welded onto the bottom of the legs for the casters to snap into it. I put an unusual lateral force on the chair last week and the one caster "pipe" on the side the force was applied to, snapped. My son, who is a great welder is out of town for a couple of weeks and I needed a chair NOW, so I bought this 500lb. version. My first complaint is the joke of assembly instructions was almost useless, AND I could not find a video on Youtube or anywhere else. This was not a particular problem since I have put so many chairs together over the decades that I figured it out.... but newbies beware. The arms on this version are shorter and narrower than on the 400lb. version. Neither of these was a deal breaker for me. I still like the chairs and will now have 2 once the welding on 400 is complete. A bit of advice: the casters for this chair are standard and they hold up well, but the "open" nature of them means that hair, mop strings etc. get inside and wrap around the wheel and eventually it takes a lot of work to dig out the parasite hair. So, for both chairs, I bought Lifelong "Office chair wheels replacement rubber chair casters for hardwood floors and carpet....." at $39.00 per set of five. One of the best investments I have ever made. I saw some of the negative reviews of both versions of this chair and I'm not denying their complaints, but I guess I got lucky.... twice.
